Ed, biggest take away.. In this share, you have enabled me to step into the painful times where by I have been desperate and "have" overcome a certain adversity... Reminds me to embrace that pain and utilise going forward. Listening to you daily enables me and in turn illuminates the eliminations that I must make myself accountable for. This assists me to access and activate that natural hunger. Also, this seriously assists me towards pin pointing the actions and people in my life that numb out that drive, Its the "now" time to eliminate those distractions. This morning you have awoken my giant within. Always extremely greatful and so much appreciate your transparency and hunger.. "Thank you" Ed #maxout

Let them sleep while you grind. Let them party while you work. The difference will show. Work hard. Stay humble. Be patient. Keep hustling. Hi guys! It's me again :) You might have seen me before but my desire to inspire more people is what keeps me pushing to reach out more. We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we just graduated college and were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. I started it out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second one currently under construction but launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.

ALLOW me TO START OFF by THANKING YOU!! It's INCREDIABLE how the universe works.. After getting home late from the gym while making dinner I always listen to uplifting content to fill my mind! I had just listened to a Bedros Keuilian video when yours auto played and came about playing..THIS VIDEO COMPLETELY REASONATED WITH WHAT I HAD JUST EXPERINCED ONLY MINUTES AGO!!!I literally was just in that exact state OF HUNGER and of LAZER FOCUS before leaving the gym!! I had went to leave after my session and accidentally locked my house/work/gym keys IN THE LOCKER!!!!GOING INTO FULL DESPERATION MODE, I HAD TO GET THOSE KEYS!! I started scouring the gym what I could do... Couldn't leave to get the spare because I wouldn't be able to get into my house.. I went for the utility closet, found a level and pried at the corner of the door.. being that it was on the top row after grabbing a bench I was able to just squeeze it open and get a glimpse in there at them!! NOW I NEEDED TO REACH THEM.. GETTING CREATIVE " by any means necessary" Went looking for a clothes hanger in the locker rooms.. NONE!! (besides a crappy plastic one) Went into the back storage room "WHAT CAN I USE!?!"JUST THEN my eyes caught a BANDIT SIGN!! I immediately ripped off the legged and mangled them into a hook!!!STILL TOO WIDE!!Ripped the legs apart and bent up a good hook shaped one, then was able to snag them and draw them out!!Moral of the story.. I went from PANIC to HUNGRY to CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING in a MATTER of MINUTES BECAUSE I WAS 100% FOCUSED and 100% HUNGRY TO GET THOSE DAMN KEYS OUT!!! NOTHING WAS GOING OR COULD STOP ME!!!#MAXOUT

The one thing life has taught me that I realized maybe a year or two ago is that failure is 100 percent beautiful. It helps you grow , learn , and move forward as a better version of yourself with lessons that will last a lifetime. IG people and lots of social media mostly show the riches and bling but never about falling on hard times and how failure and the grind is a necessary and important step. It’s not something to avoid but to embrace. Kevin Collymore

I needed this video. All the successful people tell you that you aren't driven enough or hungry enough, so that's why you're not successful, but they never give real strategies on HOW to increase that hunger. HOW to increase that focus. When the pain isn't enough, but the desire for more is there, how do you increase both so that it moves you towards your goals? How do you turn a want into a need? Maybe you're in a crappy situation, but the pain just isn't enough. Maybe the desperation to change just isn't enough. Maybe the thorn in your foot isn't painful enough to pull out. Complacency is death. Inaction is death. You really have to dig deep and feel that inner disgust about your situation. Why do you want to change? What are the consequences if you fail? What will be your legacy. Stoke the fire. Feed the desire. Pain breeds resolve. The desperate move the quickest. Commit and burn the ships. Thanks, Ed.

The most focused I’ve ever been and pushed thru adversity and accomplished my goals was at my most desperate time. Rather it wasn’t even accomplishing my goals it was survival. I think it’s never getting comfortable and staying in a state of being uncomfortable. Grow or die!

I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer but you are right ...I was so desperate the doc gave her six months but with good dieting and doing things right I got to stay with her for four years and a half more! Thanks so much its great you are amazing!

whoa this interview was so incredible , I took so many notes!! Thank u Ed for this magnificent information....I had a huge epiphany thanks to your knowledge on this video where I realized that all of my goals that I accomplished in the last 12 months were the ones that were at the fore front of my mind.. for instance this time a year ago I didnt even have my yoga certification or actually really know I wanted to teach and fast forward I am now living in Tulum teaching yoga at hotels, creating educational content for socials and growing my yoga business online. But see, I IMMERSED myself in the art every single day, I would do my practice, play the audios, write my affirmations, and study yoga manuals for hours. So now this has clicked in my mind as you said "success leaves clues". During the part that you discussed the necessity of laser focus, that sparked the realization that I need to take the goals that my mind considers "bigger" and actually break down the resistance to receiving them, along with place them at the very forefront of my mind to achieve them the way I achieved my yoga path. I am now playing your audio as u recommended "unlocking your success code"

Many moons ago I worked in radio; the radio station I was in was actually one of the first to use computers for play music and commercials- so when i heard speak about podcast it made me think of that time of my life. Distractions -- I had to walk away from a few people who I can give unconditional love to, however where they are at, is not were I am at and is not where I choose to be either!

I don't REALLY want much of anything right now. I know I should, but I just don't. I have cerebral palsy and I have worked on my physical fitness my whole life, and it has been a great source of pride for me. I am almost 62 years old now and I am struggling to regain my fit body. It is just much harder than it used to be. I guess that will just make the victory that much sweeter when I get there. Thank you for your advice on increasing my hunger and focus. This is just what I desperately needed.

Favorite takeaway was you telling stories of your own weaknesses(podcast, chip, hashtags) and kept at it, learned and built the #1 podcast. I think it is important for people to hear that people at your level go through constant adversity too, but you just go harder! Love this podcast. It would be cool to talk about getting out of a downward spiral. I quite my 9-5 job at 41 years old to go after my dreams. I opened a retail store and have lost almost every dime I have. I need to turn it around within 6 months for my wife and daughters or all our money is gone. It is my duty to provide for them while fighting the paralyzing pain of the depression and anxiety. I will not quit and I thank you for these podcasts!

Oh my gosh, I just literally LOL (listening to this in my bathtub) over your chips and hash browns! I’m barely smarter than that myself, I’m working on starting a podcast and blog and feeling overwhelmed, hopefully I can follow in your footsteps! Apparently I listened to this video before...but you are sure speaking directly to me today! I’m finally getting hungrier and desperate, I’m seeing clearly now how much worrying about “looking pretty” has held me back! I have tears right now as I say this because I know what I have is going to help people...including being brave enough to show “my ugly”. I’ve been held back so much because I forget it’s not about me!!! Thanks again Ed! Hope to meet you one day...maybe even have you on my show 😊
