Hiya mate, been waiting for a little while for a decent guide, really good vid! I'm currently doing the same at the moment but with engine in vehicle, hoping to keep alternator in place aswell:/? was wondering is there a bolt on the bottom of the standard inlet manifold at the back if your looking at the bay from the front? Hey thanks man. Yeah the rear vacuum box and bcs (boost control solenoid) mount attach at one point at the bottom/back of the manifold. From memory I think you would get to it from under the car.

What did you do with the bracket from the back of the altonator ? Just leave it off ? And did yours come with a extra bracket . What's that for ??

Um.....just exactly as in the video. If there are no bolt holes to mount it have to leave it off.

Did you change the ECU-software after install or is it still original?

The manifold upgrade was just part of a complete engine rebuild etc. So I got a re map after everything was done....

@@boosthit811 dam it, i mean ive fully rebuilt mine with oversized pistons but as doon as i touch the throttle it goes into limp 🤦♂️

@@thedondy that whole system is just there to lower boost in 1st and 2nd gear. I can't remember off the top of my head. I could check when I get home in a couple of days.

There wont be a "in the seat" noticable difference. I just fitted because I wanted a little more fuel with my upgraded pump on standard injectors. In hindsight I would just do pump and injectors as required. Unless your fpr is bad.

Its entirely up to you. But if you are going to the trouble of fitting an aftermarket inlet then in my opinion I don't want to plumb any crankcase blow by gasses back into my intake charge air diluting it.
