I thought the same thing as Chael. I would love to see Ngannou punch one of those force measurement pads and then see Barboza kick it. Pound for pound, Barboza has to be generating some of the most force in MMA with his kicks. And the scary thing now is that he's dialed himself into a hot zone and he's refined his boxing so that the old strategy of just bully-pressuring to nullify his kicks doesn't work nearly as well to stop him from getting off offense. He is one scary dude right now and I fully believe he will become FW champ within 12 months.

idk if the explanation got lost in translation or what, but what the translator said for Edson, to joe in the octagon post fight interview, was that making 145 is easier for him because it was hard for him to keep on the weight? or something to that effect? he also said he had more energy now than before.. it was a bit confusing but who knows, maybe he forced himself to gain, to walk around 170-180, then cut and make 155... I've been an athlete my whole life, I weigh between 145-155lbs at 6'1 and trying to gain weight is damn near impossible... I have to intake so many calories It makes me sick, drink nutrient shakes and protein, and I still have trouble gaining. I played collegiate soccer which makes it hard to gain weight burning those calories due to the running involved in the sport... and I can imagine edson is much like me, plays soccer/football when he has the chance, is naturally lean and has to work harder to gain weight than he does to lose weight...
