You cannot doubt Broderick's playing ability. You just can't. Many people might see as his screw up but its the exact opposite. He was playing flawlessly. But looks like he's playing everything a bar up and it still sounds close to Dimebag's tone.

Chris's sound was off at the start of the solo. That solo would be child's play for him. As perfect as all of them are, they are still human!! Still awesome none the less!!

If i learned anything as a musician the past 12 years is that you can always learn the iconic solos and play them note for note.That doesn't that when you play them correct they are gonna sound as good as the original.Players hit the strings from a different angle and have different vibrato,you can't copy Dimebag 100%.

Wait a second... was not Broderick's fault, Charlie Bernante killed the timing, in fact u can see Anselmo nodding and Portnoy counting the 3, 4 standing up and looking, both of them to Bernante. And more, like 4 seconds before the solo that guy Bernante also killed the last part of the chorus, that`s why Anselmo said thank you.

I was not talking about how Chris would've copied Dimebag whatsoever. What I meant was Benante made mistake in the rhythm, so Chris lost it and messed the solo too. Who knows if the rhythm had been fine, Chris would've probably played perfectly. Note for note. Maybe.

Just a couple of seconds before the solo begins, Phil comes closer to Chris and waives his hand in the head of Chris, why in the heck did he do that, I think that move made Chris lost the concentration and focus on the song and the solo that was about the start and that was the reason of the messed up

And Dime has brought some new things in metal, created some amazing solos, and that is far more important than technical abilities guitarists have.

Drummers fucked everything up (points at anthrax drummer) and also sound tech didn't increase volume of his guitar when he started to solo and he got lost... Can't hear what he's playing and rhythm is fucked because drummers fucked up.
