EE Lightning - AIRFIX 1/48 - Alclad metal finishes

A great build, I've made four in recent years and the home made extra details make all the difference between a model and a super model. We'll done. I used to live near Bruntingthorpe and could see two of the real things on fast taxi runs a couple of times a year. That's closed now but I think a lightning still runs at Cranfield.

Love it,Alclad is a bit of a pain to use but great colours I would have left the over wing fuel tanks off as it ruins the beautiful lines of the lightning

You're probably right, but those over wing fuel tanks are so "unique" to the Lightning that I couldn't resist...
