EE Wilson pheasant hunting (take it to the limit)

My dad hunted pheasant and he used dogs when he was younger but hunted without dogs too. Did well too. I like that you mentioned that you can hunt without dogs too. But dogs definitely male it easier. Your dogs definitely seem to enjoy the hunt

I know I’ve seen a video of you up around Barney reservoir. Do you do any grouse or quail hunting up there? I live right down the road in Yamhill and have been trying my luck and haven’t seen any birds, was curious if you do any good there for grouse or quail. I was there yesterday and the only chance I had was two quail but they were right infront of my car so I didn’t take a shot. I am mostly a fisherman bird hunting is totally new to me. I used to have grouse all over my road but after some recent logging I haven’t seen one bird so been going up there.

@@IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 that area can be great lots of mountain quail this year grouse are around hunt areas where the older timber and the younger timber come together your probably not seeing birds because of all the hunters in the woods as soon as the big game hunting finishes it will get better

@ I saw two mountain quail but they were right in front on my bumper when I was walking back for the day. I left you a comment on another video with a link to what I found in the woods yesterday while I was hunting closer down towards Yamhill. It was pretty gnarly hahahaha.
