Kauai is my favorite. You should have gone to Waimea canyon it’s beautiful! Like a mini Grand Canyon. Take a zodiac boat along Napoli coast into sea caves! Next time

I've been on Pride of America twice 2010 & 2023. Just came back home 2 weeks ago from the cruise. I've made my mind up that anytime I visit Hawaii, I have to island hop. Kauai, to me, was the most beautiful of the 4 islands. But all are unique in there own way. I've been fortunate to visit Hawaii 3 times & cruise two times. Each time, I find something new to explore. I've found my Happy Place 🙂. Great channel btw!!!

I was in Kauai a month ago. My first time to any Hawaiian island. I suggest you go to Kauai for sure. I absolutely loved the fact there were no big cities - just pretty quaint villages - and how nice it was to be away from any big city feeling. Each beach has its specialty whether it is for the unique fishes or the gorgeous huge sea turtles. We were so busy every day with such fun adventures, such as kayaking, cave tubing, biking along the coastline, snorkeling many beaches, awesome boat tour along the Napoli Coast at sunset, and more. Ya gotta do it! 🌴🌴😎😁🌴🌴

We have been to Hawaii three times since 2009. My absolute most favourite place I’ve ever been too. Also, the Big Island has so much to offer but takes a lot more time to see and explore.

Yes, That is a great beach as I experienced it about 6 years ago. I read that the hotels cannot build higher than the palm trees so as not to ruin the views. Thought that was Kool. A hotel there has a Webcam of Poipu Beach as well. Thanks for sharing. You guys are so upbeat and fun to watch.

The Napoli Coast was definitely one of the most beautiful sites to see when I sailed on the Pride of America in 2017. I planned to go back to Hawaii some day soon. Glad that you guys enjoyed Hawaii!

We did the Hawaii cruise and fell in love with Maui. We have been back for 2 land vacations on Maui. Last Sept we spent 3 weeks on Maui and it was the best vacation ever! Headed out on a Royal Caribbean southern Caribbean cruise at the end of the month.

The Big Island has so much to offer. I spent a week there and love it just as much as Maui and Oahu. I don't think spending the day in town gave you the best perspective. Definitely try it again! I swam with the Manta Rays at night and it was unbelievable!

I wish you would have rented a car on Kona! When you go up to the Waikoloa area, there are amazing beaches and areas to explore. Big lava tube near the airport. And driving to the north point for the views is worth the time. You can enjoy the view from the top or take a hike down to a black sand beach. Cool little towns along the way and a place to stop and see remains of a village from over 600 years ago. The big island is our absolute favorite place to vacation.

I was born and raised on Kauai during the 70’s and 80’, Poipu Beach and Brennekes are great but Lumahai, Hanalei Bay, and Wailua beaches were my all time favorites back in the day.

I'm new to your channel but really enjoy your down-to-earth videos... very genuine and real. I agree, the islands are so different, it's tough to choose a favorite. The Big Island definitely has a different look/feel, but once you get adjusted to that, it's awesome ! If you go back to the Big Island, I would recommend spending a week there, minimum. Visit the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park and then walk over to Two Step to snorkel, snorkel at Captain Cook monument (accessible by tour boat or a steep hike), do a nighttime manta ray snorkel (AMAZING!), join a tour to the summit of Mauna Kea for sunset/stargazing, and go fishing in Kona.. deep blue, calm water right off the coast and great fish. We took our family trip to Kauai in June 2021. It was the trip of a lifetime!! Absolutely beautiful! Poipu Beach was one of our faves too. We did a catamaran tour of the Napoli coast and yes it is stunning. 8 days in paradise and I can’t bc wait to get back 😊

Kauai was my favorite 25 years ago, which by the way was a two weeks inter-island introduction to Hawaii independent tour. Flights were like taking a bus.. short and sweet by either Aloha or Hawaiian Air. Car rentals were cheap. You missed the canyon on Kauai. The views of the coast from above are spectacular too.

Spent two weeks there in 1996, rented a Saburu Brat and covered every inch,,,had a wonderful time. High lite was a helicopter tour, did not have a drone back then, but in person was the best. Looks about the same with more people, would like to return one day but I live on a similar island in the Philippines, Camiuin.

We did Kauai & Maui last month. Hands down, Kauai is the prettiest place I’ve ever been too. Shipwreck and Poipu beaches are gorgeous. North side also very nice

We actually were at Kauai staying on land in a condo at Poipu Beach. Nice little area for swimming and pretty tree-lined drive out there. Saw the Canyon which is spectacular. South Point Blow Hole was so-so. Enjoyed Tropical Taco which at the time was a food truck. Don't know if it still is in business but I think it may be a regular restaurant now and up near Princeville. On the ship when we cruised, the coastline was nothing short of spectacular - one would enjoy a balcony cabin for this as you would on an inside passage Alaska cruise.

Love it, I hit the islands at least twice a year and Kauai is my best island, like you I like to chill. I’m booked on a 16 day Hawaiian cruise Jan 6th 2023 from San Diego on Diamond Princess. Great Restaurant in Kauai are Bull Shed and Lava Lava Beach Club is a nice place to eat and drink right on the beach. I also did Turo in Kauai and picked up the car at the Airport. Fred San Diego Ca.

If you like to People watch then Waikiki Oahu, if you like to chill and relax with less crowds then Kauai. Helo flight or the dinner cruise off the Napoli coastline is a must.

Sometime you need to take a small boat right up to the cliffs on the Napali coast. We were in a boat that can go into the caves. Unfortunately the swells were too high for us to go in

Me being a former travel agent. I have been on several cruises. I have done all the Caribbean New England Alaska Baja Peninsula. Norwegian Pride of America Hawaii cruise was the best even with my issues at the beginning

A friend of mine who was in the Air Force about 40 years ago and stationed in Hawaii, told me that back then KAUAI was off limits to tourists and Haole. A native did sneak him onto Kauai once. Now KAUAI is open to all. Thus probably why Kauai is not as touristy (yet) as the other islands.

Hard to make that decision if you don't stay at each island for a week and really get to know the place. We've been 6 times and each island has its high points but Kauai is our favorite - laid back, less touristy and the beauty is incomparable! Must do the Na Pali Coast by catamaran in order to appreciate it fully. Also drive up and see Waimea canyon then up to the top to see the Na Pali Coast from the top - the Kalalau Valley is breathtaking! Def put it on your calendar for a return trip! Aloha!

Kaua'i is where people come to relax and get away from the city lifestyle. If you want to relax and enjoy your vacation, you should come to Kaua'i. If you plan on coming here, go and check out Waimea Cottage. You will definitely love it. It's old cottages that they remodeled. You have ocean and mountain views. Infact, you're right on the ocean.
