I’ve always thought of EFAP just being a recorded discussion at a pub and that’s usually how it plays out. On a serious note, I recognize what an important movie it was. Many of the techniques used to express ideas visually on film first appeared in Kane. Virtually all of those techniques are still used to this day, of course some are now done digitally, and others with specialized rigs. (As opposed to things like literally tearing up the floor near where an actor will stand so the camera can be below him to make him look huge and important - for instance.) Again, I recognize the importance of the movie. And the mystery of "Rosebud" is one of cinema's best and it"s payoff one of the most satisfying in movie history. BUT... I find my interest in most of the movie falls somewhere in the range between watching paint dry and observing someone else do their algebra homework.

For a long time I dismissed CK as one of those movies everyone talks about without ever seeing, and it's just accepted wisdom that it's great. When I finally watched it, I found it is really an intriguing, absorbing movie. I think there's too much focus put on its greatness and ground-breaking technical genius. People get so wound up trying to admire the technological wizardry they forget to watch it as a story-telling vehicle. I pay attention to the lighting and the set design, but mostly I get absorbed by the story of the characters.

What I learned in the pricing course during culinary school is something called inherent value. Basically, items that are priced ending .99 cent tricks the brain into thinking it's a lower cost, and items priced with a whole dollar amount have that inherent value of being a higher quality. This is why all middle-class and high-end restaurants use whole numbers. A meal priced at $14.99 mentally feels cheaper in quality than a meal priced for $15. This is why you see people complain about the length of an EFAP in terms like "It was an 11 hour video!" Instead of "It was an 11 hour and 48 minute long video!" For the people who are going to, and have already responded to this the *FULL* context of this is: Jenny was trying to contact Disney as a regular customer, through their regular customer service channels, or items she'd purchased that she didn't receive and refunds for her poor experience (in accordance with Disney's reefund policy). When she reached out through the *NORMAL* channels for people like you, me, and the majority of people she was denied and ignored. It was only *AFTER* the standard channels failed did she reach out with her "professional" (see: influencer) account to complain about the matter, which then Disney *promptly* got in touch with her to "make amends". Jenny didn't go "lol Disney bad" to have them send her free shit. She had a bad time at a Disney park experience, attempted to go through the standard channels, and when that failed she had to actually use her "influencer" status to get Disney to actually do their jobs. There's a lot of reasons to dislike Jenny, this aint one of them.

Most of Jenny's videos are fine. Efap took her to task on Joker because her Joker take was horrendously off-base. She left the film with the (dismissive) assumption that the film is an advocate for *not* taking medication, something the film at *NO* point even suggests. Her entire video seems entirely insincere, when you try to correlate her points with the actual film. That simply means Jenny either wasn't following the film (which is fine) or didn't understand the film (which is also fine). But, when Efap dismantled her arguments it called her media literacy in this matter in question in a very unfavorable light. Which how much she got demonstrably wrong about the film, pointing out how horrifically wrong she was become most of their covrage on her, which then got to twitter and blew up because people made the false equivalency that the crew were targeting Jenny and mocking her because she was a woman, rather than that her Joker take was just genuinely, demonstrably shit. I don't think Efap has seen all of Jenny's videos. I don't think they'd say all of her videos are bad, or, even if they did, that you shouldn't like them. Because, frankly, a lot of them are pretty alright.
