Why? You can see flagged emails as tasks in Microsoft To Do. Also, when you flag an email, Outlook allows you to select due date. Fewer clicks and faster solution

If it was the same, why would MS create a separate task folder? Watch the Task Management video for details. Use Tasks folder for tasks. Flagging mails is not efficient. Tasks can be delegated, grouped, customized and monitored. Flagged emails cannot be managed like Tasks. Best Practice: Use Tasks for tasks. Manage existing Flagged Emails. Stop flagging emails in future.

You mean Flagging. Converting to tasks is better - as you can see from the video. Read this blog article for details efficiency365.com/2022/08/06/task-list/ Flagging has only one purpose in today's world. It is a temporary flag to remind you of something. By the end of the day, all flags must be cleared. The only practical use case I have found for flagging a mail is this - you can tell me more ... I am reading a mail on the mobile phone. I need to reply but I cannot do that on the mobile - for whatever reasons. May be I need to find some references, attach some files, do some research, etc. Now, when I open my mailbox on the desktop, this mail will be shown as Read and I will miss it. Of course I can mark it as unread on the mobile but then it becomes just another unread mail. This is where you flag the mail on mobile. Handle it on the PC and then clear the flag. If it is a task - just convert to task.
