Sorry guys! I just realized the little blurb about the 3 month challenge winner didn’t show up in this video for some reason! I will include it in the next video but I have already informed the winner who will receive the q-redew. Keep protective styling (and let me know how it’s going) for a chance to win something at the 6 month and 9 month marks.

I really love your channel, Nancy. I like your relaxed delivery, and that you don’t push “magic elixirs” and “growth in 2 days”. You encourage consistency and level headedness. Thank you 🙏🏼

Looking good! New subbie here! You’ve inspired me to wear twists for the rest of the year- all natural- I’ll wash every month 😩👌🏽 trying to get them 6 inches of new growth and keep itttt

Awl he cute! Ima keep these twist on till this thang over. I have like a inch of new growth since the other week when indigenous strands put hers up. I went right ahead and had mine installed. Now Ima go head and do twist on a blown out hair and twist along with you next week when you take yours down. I usually wouldn’t have anyone touch my hair but I had a car accident and my neck is hurting so I couldn’t just put them in myself. I lost way more hair then I would’ve if I did it myself. I have 4 c hair so something had to give.

I Love your channel. I completely understand not making hair content frequently in order to keep your stands healthy. I am very similar with my own hair. I am a Spanish teacher, and my hair is 100% of the time in twists. My hair flourishes in twists. I would love to see what you eat in a day, or how you meal prep for work. Also any decoration or DIY videos are fabulous as well. 🦋

All of your content is relevant, inspiring and much enjoyed! Regardless of renaming your channel, you will still have supporters. I have a request for you to do a video on Protein/moisture balance, please. Unfortunately I keep having problems with moisture overload which has set me back. Thanks! You son is adorable!!!

I have the habit of washing my hair once or twice a week. Sometimes I don't want to wash it a second time so I just wet it in the shower and that it. I've also tried using a spray bottle with apple cider vinegar mixed with water and spraying my hair and it felt very clean so that would be my lazy method. xoxo

I never thought to do twists on flat ironed hair! Do you find the ends come unraveled over time?
@naturallybran42403 жыл бұрын
I did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. Yes my ends unraveled constantly so I spritz only the ends so they would revert & stay together.

I have to make sure I get the castor oil off my hair. This goes for grease too! They are thick! If I put grease on my hair after I wash it, I don't put more on it until wash day because the water isn't gonna absorb into my hair. I have to use hot water to loosen the grease or castor oil. Then use a sulfate shampoo to get it off. So I only put it on once a week so when I wash, I don't spend neo much time trying to get all the grease off that I layered on.

I hold off on my wash days, too, but the mistake I make (too often) is not pulling out the shed hairs. That's the source of the battle, lol. Name your channel whatever you like. We come for the content, not the name :)
@EfficientlyNatural3 жыл бұрын
❤️❤️ thanks! It’s nice to hear that. And yes! You are so right about the shed hairs. Shed hairs are the major source of my tangles.
@Doc_McStuffins3 жыл бұрын
I did invisalign in 2005 or so. It worked really well! I always had a lisp, accidentally threw away a few (don't put them in napkins, ever!) and my teeth reverted because I didn't keep up with the retainer. Learn from me lol! I missed the hair challenge update. I was in the middle of a retwist. But I look forward to showing my 6 month progress. :) Edit: can't believe how big your son has gotten. Wow. What a handsome guy.
@EfficientlyNatural3 жыл бұрын
Lol!!!! Ok noted- I need to stop with the napkins too! Even though you missed the start of the challenge you are more than welcome to join for the next phase!!!! And thank you- I can’t believe how fast he’s growing either. 🤗 Can’t wait to see your progress in the next 6 months!!

I love how thick your hair is. I know it can be a blessing and a curse (due to the amount of time it takes to care for it), but I'd love to have that thickness. I have the inches, but if I was to put my hair in twists like that, all you'd see is scalp 😕

Hi Nancy, as usual, I love your breezy delivery. Re the name change, idk, lol. What initially drew me to your channel was the name, Efficiently Natural! I was frustrated in my natural hair journey and well, needed to be efficient in my journey lol..your content made this journey so much easier. Perhaps sentimentality on my part . However is there a way that the efficiently can be incorporated? The reasoning is , thats how I view your advice/approach, be it, hair, fashion, career, motherhood...all of it..
@oshunyarl3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. The name drew me in at first too and then when I realize her advice was all the right things simplified I was all in.

I can't use castor oil anymore. Lol. It's too thick for my hair. I washed my hair, and was trying to put the oil on my sections, and the oil was so thick! It felt like I was ripping my hair out of the scalp as I was trying to rub it in. I tried to comb it with it in my hair too. I was like no ma'am! So I went switched to my grease and all is well now! 😂😂😂😂😂

I follow Indigenous Strandz and I think she is really sweet. I have never seen her not have a "sweet spirit" in her videos. Unless you know her personally? Both of these sistahs are really nice from what see, but I don't know them personally.
