Not watched yet, watch later when finish work at 10pm....BUT started my lad at the age of 5 with a Leeda Assassin Pole, mainly top 3 sections....loved it, now hes 15, and comes occasionally

90s is about right, known Ollie’s since school when he was given the name buttmunch by my dad! My dad couldn’t believe how often someone could fall in a lake, it was nearly every time we went! 😂 the best one was when he fell in the river, in the winter and lost his phone, all because I asked him to wet the sling to weigh a pike! He’s a proper buttmunch 🤣

My lad started off when he was 5yrs old with an Octoplus Seat Box and a Pole, loved the fact of catching any and every fish with maggots every week up until about he was 7 when I started Carp fishing, and then he wanted the Camping side of staying out at night. So the fishing was during the day for us both then at night was myself and he had his tablet with him. This continued until he was about 12yr and started dwindling away to his technology....now he's 15 and isn't that fussed to be honest. Now its Football, Karate, MMA training and the odd phase on FIFA on his PS5.... I do ask him now n then if he wants to go, but he's not fussed...

That’s a shame he hasn’t got an interest in fishing now, but sounds like he’s got some great hobbies to keep him active and his mind switched on as he gets older 👍
