Effortlessly Export Mono in Logic Pro w/ 1 Setting

Switch channel to mono, set channel output to mono-Output1 . Open Mixer set MasterOut to Mono then bounce Output1 that's it. ✌

@@StaminaMCyou'll need at least two channels in the project, i just figured out. the n if you go in mixer and mono the stereo out you'll get stereo out and output two. stereo out in this case would be output1 and output 2 is output two. i hope it helped

Honestly, I perhaps understand your second explanation less than I did the first. 😅I start from a template so there are always multiple channels, but if I'm voicing jingles/drops for people stereo is no good to anyone… and yet sometimes it'll bounce mono, or double mono (seemingly randomly), and selecting the outputs as you explain just gives me a stereo file with just one channel of audio! 😵‍💫Easily solved, but still minorly annoying.

It's too bad that you can't export the volume automation in mono when exporting files. Volume and panning shouldn't be linked like that... there's no good reason for that.

I don't get why volume is yoked with pan when bouncing or exporting. Panning is by definition dependent on stereo (left/right) but if no panning exists then volume-and its automation-has nothing to do with mono or stereo. Why can't a mono track include automated volume?

Just wondering, did you record the guitar as an AIFF file format or also in WAV? I always record in AIFF, but I'm not sure if that is still recommended these days?

Lol, bad faith fanboyism is strong in here... Logic should not tie volume and pan automation, and also should not tie mono export to automation activation. It is ridiculous, and present It as "You probably don't know how it is supposed to be done" is so ugly... Thanks for helping me unclog my Subscribe list.
