I love how you used 180° AN fittings for the fuel line between the fuel rails, been fighting with the NPT fittings for far too long, so I'm totally copying that. I'm currently putting together a CB Gen4 EFI as well.

Great set up, far better and neater than any carb engine. Economy and reliability will no doubt be much improved..

Thank you for the vid. I'm restoring a 64 bug, so your engine blueprint was very helpful. I like the stance of your bug as well. Where did you get the wheels from? What are the sizes? What tires are you running, & the sizes as well? Thank you.

It’s a trunk mat for a Tesla model S I cut up and restitched. I think I found it on Amazon, wanted something that was rubberized and durable

I want a serpentine belt system but I wonder if the lack of vent blades on the alternator pulley would cause alternator overheating. I don't have anything special but a Class D 5-ch audio amp that doesn't consume much power
@all-flat-engines2 жыл бұрын
Never had a problem, when I first put it together I’d drive and check if it got hot but it always seemed fine, plus it’s a modern unit and today’s alternators don’t have fans either

One more Q. How is the handling with the back suspension set-up. Using the coolrydes stiffy kafer bar and the Empi stabiliser bar. Thanks for a great channel. ✌️
@all-flat-engines2 жыл бұрын
It completely changed the car, swing axles are insanely unstable, this made it livable with the extra power
@vwkenart7 ай бұрын
what distributor set up is that?
@all-flat-engines7 ай бұрын
It’s a hall effect cam sensor with LS3 coils from CB Performance

nice. what manufacturer header and exhaust do you use in your engine builds
@all-flat-engines2 жыл бұрын
That’s a vintage speed exhaust with equal length headers, but I replaced it with an A1 collector into sidewinder setup from CBPerformance which flows way better

I guess stock Length Con rods & "B" pistons ? ..... Very Nice Build
@all-flat-engines2 жыл бұрын
It has a stroker crank (78.8mm, while stock is 69mm), so the rods are longer and the piston skirts are shorter

Never use aluminum push rods I’m in build tapered steel custom cut forever.
@all-flat-engines3 ай бұрын
Never had an issue with them and the car routinely revs past 6500RPM, they're dual tapered and custom cut to my specific length, significantly reduces the weight of the valve-train

i do not think you will get a good vacuum signal with that hose setup for the sensor, hose ID is particular to the brand and model # of sensor as well as where you are tapping the intake system, CB Performance makes a kit (2040 Vacuum Reference Kit) or you could just tap each runner and run a hose from each to a vacuum log and then to the sensor. just my $0.02
@all-flat-engines2 жыл бұрын
Already did it just on in the video. 4 hoses tapped into each itb running into a single vacuum collector and from there into an external 1 bar map sensor
