Hey thanks for testing with the Lux Power! It does seem like communications has gotten pretty standardized, love that we can just pick an inverter and battery and chances are high they will talk. Hope to see how well it works as you use it. And hey next time you're at the shop ask me for some heat shrink, I'll cut you off a piece. Same goes for anyone else that comes by!

I ran into same issue at first EVEN WITH the newest EG4 LL batteries! I also posted the fix! Got love the complexities lol

Nice! Great tutorial showing how to get it working with the EG4 batteries. I have another rack battery, and inverter that I had to jump through hoops to figure out how to get them to talk. LOL So yeah can be a project for sure. Thanks

I have made the Lead Acid voltage setting work for my DIY LIFEPO4 but I am still tweaking it with the idea I am still losing some of my battery capacity due to being cautious. Still working on it and I might just change BMS's to get communications to the inverter but beginning to think that communication may not really be what I am looking to for after all. With multiple batteries, I'm not really sure the inverter will or even can help the batteries but that the BMS is really king here and all that matters. Still learning what I can do. you, my friend just made my day. I have the same inverter but with two orient power wall batteries and just yesterday I call sig solar if they had any knowledge on how these inverter will communicate with other batteries beside eg4 and they had no clue even suggested that I needed a update firmware on my inverter. to me that did not make any sense. but anyway I saw your video and my batteries use pylon as well so when I get home, I'm going to check if this configuration will work for me. I'll let you know if it does thanks for charing the info

@BradCagle Hello again! well my friend, IT WORKED!! AWESOME BRO!!! now I can see the correct voltage and soc of the battery, and in the actual app, it now displays 2 batteries, not one. thanks again for taking the time to do these helpful videos. God bless you and your family.

Hi! You have a cut where you go from the main menu to the CAN bus protocol menu. I have a battery with the same UI from Mint Energy, and I can't find that CAN bus protocol menu... Can you let me know the steps?

I would be more concerned about this inverter's life expectancy and surge capacity rather that its communication abilities. High frequency, transformerless inverters are notorious for having shorter life expectancies and poorer surge capacities than heavy duty, longer lived, low frequency, transformer based inverters.
