Thank you so much for taking the time to post these videos. I’m just a regular guy homeowner. No electrician. Self taught. I’m stumbling through getting my EG4 connected. Just getting it registered was something else. You’ve covered many topics so far. I’m hesitant on the AC in from my house. It’s 70 years old and only has a hot, common and ground. Unsure of the connection. I reached out to Current Connected, the supplier. Waiting to hear back about the use of the neutral bypass relay. Don’t want to damage anything. But you’re a godsend for information. You say you’re not a techie, but that gives me a chuckle when you say it. Please keep posting and stay safe. And happy new year. J.

Great video with lots of info. You are the only one that I have seen that actually shares to code for the Dongle. I had to contact Signature a few times and they finally got back to me. Not sure why they keep it so tight and just don't send it with the inverter. And then to find out, it is s simple, just use the word Signature. I am a new subscriber and hope to see more like this.

Thanks for another good video. With these parallel systems, I wish that the phone app and computer interface would allow a system-wide view. I would like to see the total stats for PV, battery, and load across the entire system, without having to go into each inverter that is in parallel and add them up. Maybe a future update, like when they added SOC.

Scratch that! Just found out in the nick of time that the latest release of the JK lineup has a fatal flaw. If left off for some (unspecified amount of time) the BMS's will fall back to factory defaults which includes battery type Lithium Ion and changes charge profile to cutoff voltage at 4.2v. Bye bye LFP batteries if that's what you're using.......... Sheesh..... Hopefully the word gets out and saves a lot of people a lot of grief.....

It sounds so complicated! First i wanted to install solar panels. Now, after hearing people having so many problems + additional high frequencies around parts of the system. Changed my mind. Let tree hugging leftards have pain in their butts, Not us! We will wait till they will improve and simplify the whole thing. On other hand, old Refrigerators work for decades, new ones for 3 - 5 years. So newer doesn't mean better.

It's really not that hard. Freedom and independence from the grid is neither a left or right issue. Freedom is why I have solar.
@genevelis607511 ай бұрын
@@CountryLivingExperience Thanks for response. Freedom usually associates with conservative people, But what kind of freedom if you spent days troubleshooting your system by yourself, on the phone with technical support, etc. I remember I installed security system on our ranch after burglary. Had some distance issues, certain sensors worked sporadically. I spent days on the phone, got signal boosters and other additional equipment, and some of it worked and some of it didn't. Nobody knew why. Waisted so much time and so many days. It's good for people who have a lot of free time, but most of us have more things to do than time. I can only imagine trying to figure out problems on your solar system. ... Probably only to educate yourself will take weeks. Also, is it true that people measure frequencies around this equipment way above healthy recommendations. Also spending money to replace batteries every 5 -10 years. How is it save money and time? It feels that solar system is not working for you, but you working for solar system.
