Wonderful video (all of them are)! I save my organic raw egg shells to grind up with used organic coffee sludge as my number one tomato fertilizer.

Who wouldn't want farm fresh eggs right from these beautiful birds. Takes an entire day for these girls to hatch an egg? Who knew? Well, we appreciate all their hard work. 🐓 Frittata looks delicious!

Hi Allen, Happy Valentine's Day. A short egg story here. I added vinegar to water when I hard boiled some brown eggs. When the eggs cooled I noticed that the brown on the shells was 'fluid' and remained that way. I sent Joyce a picture ..she may have shown you. It was a couple of years ago right after our visit to your home and farm.

Happy Valentine's day! I'm looking forward to when my girls start laying again. They stop every winter. Eating store bought eggs reminds me how much I prefer to raise my own. I hope I can do a mini version of the tractors you have so I can keep my girls safe from the eagles.

Allen, what about my absolute favorite egg - turkey eggs?! The best fired eggs I’ve ever had! Do you gather them at your farm from your turkeys? How about Scotch Eggs?! I can’t get turkey eggs anymore, but sure did love them?

Since you have access to chicken and egg experts, is it not true, that fresh eggs should not be washed as that removes the protective coating. That protective coatings means the eggs dont have to be refrigerated so soon. Lots of countries around the world sell eggs in the grocery stores just in the aisle, not in cold refridgerators.

Lynn Pringle yes. That is correct.
