Thank you Sir! Excellent review, although I felt sorry for your tree branches, but I did appreciate the power demo. My wife is visiting family, she'll love seeing the trimmer when she gets back (and the hedges will be fearful). Best wishes

Glad it was helpful! It's definitely better to prune tree branches with something that produces a cleaner cut. I'd been meaning to take pruning shears to those low hanging branches for a while, and I only used the hedge trimmer first to show it's capabilities.

With the new carbon fiber rail, is the new 26" one lighter than the old 24" ?
@DoresoomReviews10 ай бұрын
The bar is lighter, but the trimmers feel about the same weight overall. The difference is that you have less mass cantilevered out away from your body, which makes it a little easier to control.

HT2600E and HT 2400E, do they have the same power?
@DoresoomReviews Жыл бұрын
HT2600 is more powerful by far. 1.2" cut capacity vs the .75" cut capacity of the HT2400.

I purchased the same one, after (one)use when I was done I cleaned it like I do all my tools, the next day I went to use it and the blades were all Rusted already do you think that’s normal? Actually, looks horrible after One use ! I never leave any tools outside and I make sure they’re clean and dry after every use. Should I be using WD-40 on the blades After every use? wondering are you experiencing the same ? by the way great video !!

Mine still looks pretty new after two cutting sessions, and I didn't clean it afterwards. My old HT2400 had a lot of pitch buildup and a little rust (as seen in the video), but it's 8 years old. What cleaning solution did you use? Any bleach in it? Or did you use a non-stainless wire brush to scrub it? Both of those would cause corrosion on stainless steel.

Thank you for getting back to me, I just took a clean and dry cloth and make sure it was clean and dry. then took the blower and blew the blades just in case to remove any dirt and of course I used WD-40 and that was it i just don’t understand why it looks so rusty. I still have time to return it back to the store, but I’m pretty sure I’m gonna just keep it.Thank you again !

Is it extendable? Can attach pole hedge trimmer ?
@DoresoomReviews10 ай бұрын
No, they make a separate pole hedge attachment for their power head.
