House of the Dead Arcade - 1CC - Glitchless High Score 109,660 - Full Playthrough

Started the day with a 105,420 warm up game (which didn't even make top 10 btw) and I swear I thought I was going to get the 110,000 on the next run but fell short by 340 pts... 340 POINTS!!! I kept thinking back on so many areas where I could've easily made up those points but I guess today wasn't the day. I'm almost 100% positive the next one will be the one but we'll see.
Afterwards, I went to one of the owners and gratefully thanked her for keeping the machine so well maintained and that the work that her husband did on the monitor was beautiful and she was glad to hear it.
Score Breakdown:
Chapter 1: 22,300 Missed some early headshots but very pleased with the first Chapter.
Chapter 2: 54,560 Took an early hit which costed me -100 + -300 for the eventual max life bonus but I guess that makes up for the extra +300 I got in Chapter 1 since the machine has a max life setting of 4.
Chapter 3: 88,380 Only got 3 headshots on the upsidedown Parlor and kinda messed up on Hermit on a few sequences. I have to remember to play a bit more patiently and precise but with more aggressive shot timing on Hermit.
Final: 109,660 Hangedman okay but could've gone a bit better. Didn't really care that I took a hit on Magician as 100 pts didn't really matter to me since I wasn't going to reach 110,000. I'm pleased overall this run though.
Final thoughts: I probably could've reached 110k today if I played just a wee bit better in Stage 3; 3 more headshots would've easily done it. Time to do some mental playthoughs to ensure I get the 110k next time.

Absolutely incredible work. I played the PC port a ton as a kid, recently realized I could emulate M2…haven’t seen a cabinet in ages, but I dream of buying one eventually. Truly a masterful run, thank you for sharing.

13:27 The Munsters theme (apparently season one) starts playing in the background. How fitting! 17:19 Somebody coins up and starts The House of The Dead 2. That must have been confusing hearing the same "RELOAD!" coming from another machine. 20:37 You beat the third boss at the same time the person on the THOTD2 machine failed before the first boss.

Oh so this was at AAFC in Burbank again? Did they fix the P1 gun so the trigger doesn't get "stuck" anymore?

Yeah, at AAFC again. The gun feels good now and haven't had any problems with it at all this week.

I went there, the P1 gun spazzes out due to a calibration issue or something, so I have to play the game as P2 instead.
