Something really interesting I’ve come to find out recently is of a joint Medjay (as in the people group, think modern Bejas), Kerman (from the Bronze Age Nubian capital of Kerma) and Puntite (people from the Land of Punt in the Northern Horn of Africa by the Red Sea) military expedition into Egypt between 1575BC-1550BC detailed on an inscription in the tomb of Sobeknakht II. The inscription read the following: “Vile Kush came, aroused along his length, he having stirred up the tribes of Wawat (analogous to the C-Group), the oasis-dwellers beyond the second cataract, Medjaw and Pwnt”

I would say it encompassed both... Nubia from my understanding is more of a geographic term... and within that area were many different groups of people. In the north they were probably Cushitic while Meroe itself was Nubian, it's hard to know but you can still easily google some scholarly sources from linguists if you want.

They were, by far and large, most similar to modern Cushitic speakers phenotypically and genotypically if the osteological and genetic record is anything to go by. Linguistics is another thing, with most modern theories suggesting that Lower Nubia was predominantly Cushitic-speaking and Upper Nubia was dominated by Nilo-Saharan speakers. Kushites themselves were probably Nilo-Saharan speaking peoples, but they would’ve undoubtedly looked like their descendants in Sudan today as well as nearby Horn Africans who occupy the same cluster on PCA plots (think Amhara, Somalis, Tegaru, Oromos), as was the case for essentially all of Nubia as far back as the A Group Culture (who were described as very similar to Tigrays and Somalis in multiple separate studies concerned with both dental and craniometric analyses). Nubians were Nilo-Saharan speakers, but not Nilotic in the way people use the word today. They would’ve looked just as Sudanese ‘Arabs’, Nubians and Beja do.

From what period was the ancient incense burner that depicted the whole pantheon of gods before there was a Kemet? I believe it was discovered in the early 1900s and the researcher hide it in a university museum that had sponsored his dig. It was an assistant that brought it out after the main researcher’s death. It was possibly evidence that the Egyptian gods originated from upper Egypt/Sudan. Great video nonetheless 👍🏽

The thing is , I have no idea how come more don't explore the idea that in fact the 1st Egyptian dynasties were a spin off of an older Nubia. In these early dynasties you'd be hard pressed to distinguish between the southern Egyptians & Nubians , as the theory is they both were African people that came ftom out of the Sahara when it started to dry up . There are just too many similarities , shared customs. I mean there are more Pyramids in Nubia than in Egypt. I know they were later , but these 2 people share an entwined history from the very beginning. They have found artifacts as old as the 1st Egyptian dynasty. Nubia is to Egypt what Rome is to Greece. I think it's very plausible that Nubia was kind of what Britain is to the birth of the U.S . One was 1st , but the spin off became even a bigger draw. We'll probably never know since most of these ancient artifacts are at the bottom of the Nasser Damn. Damn shame.

That is true. Nubia was an established civilization, during pre dynastic Egypt. Also, since Nubia is older, they also shared (culture) some of their gods. (if not originate them) notably Osiris, awset and Horus. That's just a note, of there influence. Also adding to this. When you see the wall painting, of Ramses conflict with Nubia. it shows people with jet black skin (nilotic skin tone.) And brown red skin tone people, as part of the Nubian's, being conquered.

@@phaeron2450 I actually was going to mention that their were Egyptians as jet black as the stereotypical Nubian in the Western mind, and Nubians as medium brown as the stereotypical Egyptian. This is also explains why Nubians and Egyptian statues look the same bc they’re racially the same. The exception comes into play with Lower Egypt particularly the Delta that’s were the primary Ethnic Diversity of Egypt was at play, especially by the Roman period.

The Egyptians never claimed that they did not build their pyramids. All the evidence, both archaeological and documentary, tells us that the pyramids were built by the Egyptians in the period that historians suggest. Unfortunately, nowadays you hear a lot of either naive or unscrupulous people who latch on to the hypothesis that the Egyptians did not build the pyramids but in truth there is absolutely no evidence to support this. It seems to me that the sole reason for such unsupported hypotheses is to make a lot of money by selling books on the subject to gullible souls who have done no real research into history.

First we need to find out the true meaning of Egypt, it language and who the people are. I can say ancient Egyptians are Nubians... pronounced as (ana ibo).. meaning The land of mediators who migrated to upper Egypt. (Egypt).. consonants..(g Y p t).. pronounced as... ago Ya, a pa atu .. meaning.. prays to God and advice from the Almighty GOD. The African origin of modern humans is presumed because of the presence of Mitochondrial Eve which is the main superhaplogroup L. The superhaplogroup L has major subclade: L0,L1,L2,L3,L4,L5 and L6 found in Sub-Saharan Africa..(Africa)..pronounced as (ofe ri aka)..(frk)..meaning (the place of ancient time). So the modern Egyptians can not be ancient Egyptians. through the genetic studies The ancient Egyptians have L1 gene. One reliable approach to tracing the origins of the Ancient Egyptians is through linguistics. There are important linguistic differences between hieroglyphics(Greek: "hieros".. meaning.. "sacred' and "glyph".. Meaning "Carving":.. Igbo Language...iho e ro, e gee olu ife a kaa,..meaning.. The things you think about, when you listen to the sounds.(phonemic clues) of the object mentioned) and English. So Ancients Egyptians are IGBOS that spoke IGBO language. So-called Hebrew language is also IGBO language. Hieroglyphics are written without vowel sounds (a,e,i,o,u) but only written sounds of consonants. This creates several ambiguities, which make it difficult, especially for non- indigenous speakers of Igbo language, from which the hieroglyphs and Hebrew scripts were derived. Ta Seti was the first nome of egypt, Ta Seti is the Land of the Bow, the Nubians. Ta Seti existed at least a couple hundred years before the unification of upper and lower regions by Namer, who came from the South. On maps you will often see regional categories, Lower Egypt, Upper Egypt, and then Lower Nubia. Well, Upper Nubia is also Upper Egypt. All unifiers of the 2 lands came from the South. When invaders came to egypt, the egyptians always fled south, into the "arab" interpretation of their "enemies." They went south back to the origin. They went south to get big brother. Ta Seti is now flooded and under water as wel as all the temples along that area located in Nubia. Flooded by the govnt of egypt. Keep in mind, Kemet is not Egypt. Egypt was named and defined by foreign rulers. People of Kemet are not the people of egypt.

This is patently false. Upper Nubia is to the south of Lower Nubia, not its north. Upper/Lower in these terms refers to where along the flow of the Nile. The term Kemet is also attested in older writings than Ta Seti, which was furthermore an exonym, i.e. what the Egyptian neighbors called it, not what Nubians themselves called it. This is just another pseudohistoric meme pushed for ideological purposes, not what actual historic evidence suggests.

Upper and lower XY is basic terminology for regions with a river worldwide. And yeah, upstream means on higher ground, too, because rivers flow from higher to lower ground. Either way, Upper Nubia is the southernmost of the regions debated here. As for the rest of your post, that comes just across as rambling. If there's so much evidence for your point, how about you show it. Show me that Ta Seti is not an exonym derived from ancient Egyptians southernmost province when it was already an established realm named Kemet , then applied to their southern neighbors.
