Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel

Ehud Barak has been a significant warrior and politician in crucial moments in the life of Israel. He was Prime Minister from 1999-2001 and attended the Camp David 2000 Summit, hosted by President Clinton, where he negotiated with PLO leader Yasir Arafat and came close but failed to reach an agreement which would have addressed consequential issues like territory and borders, Jerusalem, and right of return.

It's more complicated than this. Arafat intentions for peace seemed honest at the very beginning but quickly turned out to be for buying himself a cleaner image and get personally rich. ( His wife was spending nearly 10K a day in Paris ). Then . Then with Ehud Barak attempt, Arafat quickly got influenced by its hard members and Arab countries not to pursue.

Good to see you again Charlie Barak was a great soldier, special forces officer, commander and general . however he was (and is) a lousy politician, minister and prime minister that was rejected by most Israelis Left ,Center and Right and ever since losing the Premiership he is trying to regain the lime-Light's . Unfortunately, none of Israel's Prime Ministers tried to achieve peace with the Palestinians. Instead they tried to split the Palestinians by creating division to kill the momentum for peace after the PLO renounced armed resistance after OSLO. When it comes to Palestinians, Ehud is no different than others when it comes to civilian deaths among Palestinians. I repeat, blessed are the peace makers, Ehud isn't one of them. Rabin tried and Netenyahu killed him.
