I think that artists such as Ofra Haza, Naseer Shama , and Fadia el Haj touch the spark of Godliness that lies within our hearts. One day mankind will find the way to join these sparks into a great energy of cooperation and Jerusalem - el Kuds will become a city of peace. It will not happen tommorow but we must continue our long journey to peace and cooperation, for we are all God's children. Yehiel Mike Leiter - Jerusalem

As this dark world sinks into the Abyss, a cesspool where the wicked thrive, there is still holiness albeit covered by a thicker coat of waste. And then like a burst of light, Ofra Haza, 13 years after her passing, shines the light of the Most High G-d like a beacon for those who are willing to stop immersing themselves into what this world has become. G-d bless.

I've made a translation, there might well be some errors, as I'm a student, not a speaker of Hebrew: Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh 'I am who I am' Wants your people Hear my prayer In your holy dwelling place Hear, I long to live in Thy Temple To see Thy genius, strenght and majesty, Thy dignity Pity the troops Who oppose you Shorten my exile I am leaning on You Hear, I long to live in Thy Temple To see Thy genius, strenght and majesty, Thy dignity

This is one of my all time favorite songs that I have ever heard! I feel like this should be used as end credit music for a dramatic ending to maybe a TV show or something. And the song is then lifted up up the rest of Hatikva Quarter band in the background. It’s just such a beautiful hymn. I wish I discovered Ofra Haza much longer ago, such an amazing person who went out of the world very sadly.

A week does not go by in which I do not listen to Ofra Haza. I found that OfraChai is the very best organized, most complete collection there is. Haza has never been so popular. She Speaks to the World from Beyond. Her Siren's voice of peace and humanity is quickly bringing together all the Western Religions, which are identical: one God, an afterlife. We are One.

Just when one thinks that he has listened to his favorite Ofra Haza song, the power of the Spirit of G-d leads one to a new gem. I have 7 of her cassettes, four of them from the early 1980s. I have heard her sing Solomon's Song of Songs and Naomi Shemer's Yerushalayim shel Zahav. But now the greatest female recorded singing voice in history, I find, has long ago sung another gem. "Behold I also desire your Holy Abode (Temple). I will be what I will be."
