She had many friends and family that would come daily to her house to watch over her. They all would tell about the impact she had made in their lives and how much they loved her. Then seeing it as an adult I realize she had invested her life well loving and helping others! When she passed so many where there to share and remember her. She had no money she never needed it. King Solomon wrote about this in Ecclesiastes 1:14: :I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind." As a king, Solomon had done and seen it all. After all his experiences.. Solomon declared that everything was meaningless and purposeless. It was like chasing after the wind. You can strive harder, run faster, but the wind cannot be caught. It will blow right through your hands even if you try to touch it. Solomon was referring to material pursuits which take up the majority of our time here on earth. Materially..we can never have enough. There is always an appetite for more. So like chasing after the wind, having as much material wealth as we desire is an unachievable goal. On the other hand, spiritual pursuits like loving God and keeping His commandments, repentance, studying His word are meaningful and valuable. It’s the mindless pursuit of physical pleasure and material gain that Solomon was speaking out against. It’s a waste of time and waste of a life.

I’m often perplexed in our modern age by the conceptualisation of loneliness as not emulating the consumerist socialites who want to define society in their own image. Any wander can result in a nod, smile, or verbal greeting, and even an impromptu conversation. Yet in some cities that’s frowned upon as people rush to their next social fix. I think dragging up, as motivational gurus might be described, is equally toxic, as you can lose your identity to displays of the success they promote as ideals. True friends will meet with no interest in occupying spaces where they can display their consumerist credentials by buying more drinks or consumables. I think they’re few, if any, in today’s society.

In my limited experience, I've come to realise that Letting Go is also necessary when it comes to interact and connect with people. Often times, our mind, heart and ego build up desires and fantasies to have a certain kind of relationship or exchanges with the people around us. But not everything is in your control. Having a sense of continued detachment while still carrying out your duties and responsibilities towards them is the best way to live I can think of. And above all, to have no expectations, which is actually very hard to do. But one way various spiritual and religious paths advise us is to be concerned to be only of service towards them. For in only giving, without expecting anything back, we don't easily build up expectations waiting to be unfulfilled.

It's not just about the mental state of freedom anymore. Being a minimalist can help you with your health too, as the less we possess means the less maintenance and physical effort you are required to do for your possessions. Possesions are burdens, I've always felt this way. Physically and mentally our happiness is sabotaged by excesses. Acquisition occupies our minds, maintenance and protection of "valuables" creates stress. I prefer to live in freedom with the satisfaction i feel from giving away a good portion of my monthly income to good causes. Sharing results in an abundance of the peace of mind others seek in possesions. It is a viscious trap that humans set which always results in a prison of unhappiness. A great message. Thank you.

People feel good when going somewhere on holiday, a large part of that good feeling is the feeling of lightness having left all of our unnecessary objects behind. Letting go is often more required from others than from ourself. The word Psychology cannot be as scary when we realise we live it day after day, as it is present even when we think we leave it behind. Quiet moments and busy moments have all psy contents. Starting from here makes it easier to climb up the hierarchy of needs of Maslow with confidence. Indeed confidence and gratitude are the keys helping through despair and expanding positive moments. Universal Values tell us is that storms and cyclones are events that do not destroy the overall balance, so they are backed up by an unreachable infinite system. Trying hard to penetrate the absolute can be harmful while going along with what is accessible, using knowledge and feelings, is a much easier path towards being ourselves. I looked for God and never found him or her, I looked for myself and enjoyed going along with Universal Values. As a reminder: Nature is the earthen language of the Universe. Recycling is not about science it is about working at our own image in win win terms

I feel like I wasted money but I prefer training alone and having the access to it anytime of the day without walking to the gym besides having to take the barbell and plates out of my room to the backyard. Being poor helps with minimalism. I have always had that mindset of not pursuing a social status, or wanting stuff. Even as a teenager i would prefer experiences and humans over objects. I still have a better time at my local library borrowing books than at the shopping center looking for some object that's going to make my life better, as they say in those adds. I live in a one room appartement, it's not fancy or anything, and there's no trendy minimalism decor to show here. It's very clean, it breathes space, and i have room for being with myself. I see a lot of aesthetic minimalism in some videos, it's just the same old problem of consumerism in disguise. I don't see it as minimalism at all. They display these neat expensive objects, coffee tables, an expensive coffee machine, linen clothes that all have the same colour, along with lo-fi music....to make it all better. I live with the bare essentials, i never shopped online, and i enjoy all the free things and experiences life has to offer. And it has PLENTY. I turned my car into a comfortable living situation, got a storage shed with only the things I need, like stuff for my job and camping gear ect. I no longer buy stuff unless i really need it or that it’s something that will enrich my life. I figured if I can make myself happy without the “normal” lifestyle amenities, then that will teach me how to recognize whats important and what weighs me down. Plus living this lifestyle I dont have to work as much because my bills are VERY LOW, and I can still save money while having more time to work out, hike, make music and enjoy my life.
