I don't know a single word he raps about (not an Arab) but his album: Adam, Darwin & The Penguin is on my repeat playlist as I am also learning Arabic, the way he express himself in the album is fascinating. Thanks for this interview, it was insightful!

Are you serious guys!!!! This is one of the greatest Sardes. Mazen is simply epic, thorough, full of sadness but also full of experience and full of hope. Have to listen/watch it again. Thanks a lot Muin and Medea for such an episode.

Every Sarde confirming and affirming the existence of what I feel and work towards. Your conversations are ones I feel like I am taking part in just by watching because they are insanely relatable and increasingly so with every new sarde. Thank you for reminding me every week that there are things that make our suffering worthwhile in this country.

although I enjoyed a lot of previous sardes, this one might be my favourite and I think more sardes with mazen with more defined context could be very interesting. He spoke to my mind, my existence, my experiences as an expat and my relation to this land, to my relation with language and to the questions we all ask and try to answer without trying to push an answer or sell a point of vue. It is not to my knowledge that people get to be so in touch with these questions and so deep in their tackling of the subjects without going through a lot (to not assume or label). I wish mazen the best and thank him and you guys for this sarde.
