Thompson is the fastest woman on earth hands down. It's great to see her reach her potential. Felix is still a woman after my own heart......lol I think Allyson will have recovered from her injury by next year and will be more competitive in her favorite race in 2017. I'm glad to see Felix have enough confidence to face the gold and silver medalist despite having a season where she was less than her best.

Thompson is without any doubt the fastest woman on earth period. But keep an eye on Dafne Schippers she is an awesome 200m competitor. Felix is also an awesome competitor, but my only concern she is 30 years old now.

You're right.......that 30 year mark begins take it's toll on the body. I think, however, one can remain competitive if your head space is youthful. Gatlin, Gay, and Collins, and Ottey are prime examples of longevity in the sprints.

@WARRIOR FIGHTER PAHLAWAN 100 yes. But 200 m she did exceptionally well in 2012. So to call her not special in the 100 m is right, but her 200 m talent and 400 m cannot be denied. She's perhaps the greatest when you look at all the three 100, 200, 400 m of all time.
