I was already onboard with this cosplay video bc, for those not familiar with DS3, D's sword (as well as the other ones Chase mentioned) shares a moveset with DS3's Hollowslayer GS, which is one of my favorites for its moveset and its related NPC from DS2, so to then see a good old DS3 trick executed so damn smoothly was a bonus!

So I've often been notoriously bad at invasions (on the rare occasion that I do em) because I go full honor mode and run right into the fray, usually getting blended. Earlier today on a fresh character, I was doing my 3 invasions for the Varres quest and started using tactics I see on this channel. Using Storm Stomp and strategic Banished Halberd pokes, not getting greedy, retreating when necessary... and lemme tell ya, I'm starting to turn this franchise around. Thanks for showing us pvp scrubs how it's done, Chase!

Something about the way the 2 handed idle stance looked really weird so I wanted to look it up to make sure i wasnt going crazy. Turns out that for whatever reason the D armor set very slightly changes how you hold greatswords so that its a bit higher up lol. You can see how much lower the pommel is when you swap to one handing it. I guess it makes sense that they wouldnt want the characters signature weapon to be clipping into the big ass head poking out of his torso lol.
