St Trina must have been like a voice inside of Miquella’s head, telling him not to go through with his plan, and as a result Miquella threw her down the deepest hole he could find.

@lemon_boi3055 ай бұрын
i do wonder just how much of golden order fundamentalism miquella held onto since he was a prodigy, i wonder if he may have come to a similar conclusion as goldmask in thinking that one could not be a "one true god" if he were made up of two people so he had to discard trina. i've seen an interpretation going around that st trina could also be his lover in a similar way to marika and radigon, and that we're in a way seeing history play out similarly. perhaps the reason why marika says that radigon has yet to become a god is because he was cast away from her flesh before she became a god and they only reunited after the fact, so only one half was a god, it could also explain how radigon married renalla but returned to the capital to become elden lord. it could be that he held a flame for marika after all these years. either interpretation whether it was his actual love or his lover, miquella still stripped away half of himself to go through with the plan. being a similar being to marika maybe he and trina saw divinity differently growing up, while miquella saw it as a way to change the world st trina saw it for what it was; a prison. maybe she empathised with marika while miquella was more so in line with radagon's school of thought. in the end we saw that radigon was the one who tried to fix the elden ring, therefore uphold the divinity, while marika shattered it, seeing it as a cage. maybe another reason for their disagreement could've been the kind of compassion he wanted to usher, st trina provided relief for those suffering in the lands between, she even sung for those inflicted by the frenzied flame showing her care while miquella sought more permanent solutions like the unalloyed gold needle and the haligtree. i think in the end st trina was content doing whatever she could to help ease the suffering of people while miquella may have became disillusioned and wanted a more permanent means. one can imagine just how traumatic it must have been to grow up beside melania and see her suffer with no cure in sight no matter how much he tried. st trina asking us to kill miquella could also be a trauma response from discovering what happened to marika, not wishing for the same thing to eventually happen to miquella, maybe unlike the other demigods they found out the truth about what happened given all the knowledge he seems to know. idk i just find the speculation interesting. also awesome video, definitely earned a sub!

When you meet Leda in Enir-Ilim she says this, "I suppose it must be what his Eminence, or perhaps the Erdtree, desired all along? The clashing of the favored lords, such that one would prevail?" She says that it's possible the erdtree just wanted you to kill off a rival god, but she also brings up the possibility that this is how Miquella wanted it to end, with the two favored lords fighting to see which one comes out on top. This could just be for practical reasons, if two lords want two different ages then you will end up fighting eventually, so you might as well get it over with, but I also wonder if Miquella wanted you to kill him from the beginning. Before you come to the land of shadow Miquella was so conflicted about what he was about to do he literally had to abandon his compassion to do it, and when you talk to the half that was holding him back she's so desperate to stop him that she asks you to mercy kill him, if that is how badly Miquella wanted to stop himself, then I wonder if he brought you to the land of shadow because he subconsciously wanted to make sure that his plan could fail, like the only way he could convince himself to go through with it was if there was another lord that could succeed where he failed if he wasn't strong enough in the end
@PenOfEvil6 ай бұрын
@@thomasdevlin5825 That's interesting. Possibly, when something like godhood requires you to give up all you care about it's only natural that at first Miquella didn't want to. St. Trina essentially said "so don't" which is why he had to get rid of her. As we can see with Marika they clearly agreed because Radagon was still very much in the picture but their history is still completely unknown.

@@PenOfEvil I also have a feeling that the Scadutree is the shadow of the Erdtree just before it was burned. The twisting tree sipping and bending the straight Erdtree is the tree infected by Godwyn corpse, at the base of the Erdtree. It's the ''death tree'' released and parasiting the tree of life. That's why they had to burn it down before it got too powerful, and replaced it with an illusory golden tree. I'm pretty sure they used Melina as the Kindling Maiden, and she was emprisonned near the Erdtree as a failsafe in case the Erdtree had to be burned.

the mimic veil was taken by godrick to escape leyndell, that's why it was stored in stormveil keep. as for radagon and marika, they inhabit the same body still, although marika's side seems to be motionless and i wholly believe her soul is either dead or transferred somewhere else
