All you gotta' do to summon Igon for the Bayle fight is to go to the Pillar Path Waypoint grace (if you haven't already) and he'll be nearby screaming in agony. Talk to him, exhaust his dialogue, and move on. Then, when at Jagged Peak, you'll find two drakes fighting. One will have a boss healthbar and the other won't. Let them fight until one dies, then finish the other off. Igon will appear and offer you his summon for when you fight Bayle. His sign will be inside the boss arena.

If you ever consider creating a madness inspired build, one of those enemies that insta kill you in the woods has a talisman that can greatly help with it. To be able to kill them, you have to parry them first so that they become vulnerable. Afterwards, they are susceptible to damage and they don't respawn again once you kill them. The timing of the parry can be janky, but hitting the parry as soon as the wand is around their chest area usually works. Use a buckler or a parrying dagger if parrying is not something you're that good at.

For the summon on bayle you have to complete the full quest for igon. to complete it you basically just go thru the area for bayle and talk to igon throughout the area

if you press the heavy attack button twice when doing a jumping heavy, another heavy will be buffered on landing. its pretty annoying but once you know the issue it can be worked around. i dont think this was an issue prior to the dlc patch

on the way to Bayle you will see him screaming talk to him and then start heading towards bail and when you reach the mountain you will see 2 dragoons fighting kill both and he will be there talk to him and his summon will be at Bayle but to summon him you have to go in the boss fight and it will be right there

U can parry that oneshot attack from those walking madness lanters one of them even drops a talisman. You have to parry once the torch is at the highest point. After that you can attack them.

Jev, with colossal weapons people often neglect their physical damage negation when blocking. If you have enough stamina and are preparing to roll an enemies attack you should hold block and still go for the roll. If you dodge too late then at least you take a portion of the damage from blocking the attack :D

Dude, I literally felt my skin crawl off my body during this cutscene and remember just screaming "FUCKING METAAAAL!" as loud as I could at my monitor, knowing and fully accepting that I would die immediately after it was over, in complete elation. I absolutely could not stop thinking about this fight ever since the reveal, somehow avoided all spoilers, and he DID NOT disappoint. The environment, music, and spectacle just hits a subsonically deep chord in the soul. Absolutely fucking sick shit. Still haven't beaten him btw...

In order to find bayle summon, must find the NPC on the ground yelling. He is near the PIllar Path Way Point Grace. Once You talk to him continue towards the the path where dragon statues are. You'll find the way to dragon's bit and there the way to bayle. kill the dragons on the way and youll find two dragon's fighting. Kill the boss dragon and youll find the NPC from before. Talk to him and you will get his summon sign for when you fight bayle.

REALLY wish more people would at least attempt to use some of the new DLC weapons for their playthroughs. Literally every playthrough I've seen so far people still just using whatever weapons they finished the base game with. Either duel katanas, Greatsword, Giant Crusher or Star Fist. Like bro there are some sick new weapons, A few of which are damn near broken they are so good, Def worth trying out, Super fun to use.

Yo Jev, you can actually parry those Abyssal Watchers. You just gotta be specific with the timing. Try and aim to use the buckler's parry right as they raise their little wand to jab you, it feels super good fucking them up - and one of them actually drops a talisman (though you'd have to google the specific one.) Think it's south from the top right site of grace, Woodland Path or something like that.

Jev: *swings* Jevs Character: *swings* Jev: "WHY IS IT SWINGING AGAIN?! AHHH" Edit: Okay you said it twice so ill explain. ER DOES load up on spamming. It doesnt in the sense that pressing it 8 times really quick will stick you in 8 swings, but it does load up the very next swing if you press it towards the end of your animations. So, when you press swing, press it again(probably more like spam it), then you realize you fcked up and instead try to do something else, that swing is already loaded up. Its a very thin window of load, but when youre spamming the buttons it makes a difference. Just be more patient and dont get greedy thinking you can get off more attacks during the enemies initial animations than you actually can.

1. Go to a cross where blue petals bloom and head to shore. 2. Seek left for a very big whistle embedded between fingers. 3. Further down from a smaller tree you shall find the second whistle. Once you’ve done these steps exhaust the dialogue of both a man on a throne and a sharp tongued lady and then rest. Only then shall remembrance appear. Doubt that you’ll read this but, who knows, you might find this as a useful and somewhat “fun” way to find the boss without it being to obvious 😅

To fight the last remembrance boss you need to go to the church building near the place you went to get to the church district. Talk to the guy and get a map to the other finger ruin you haven’t visited and when you get there ring the bell and go back to the guy. Do this three times and you will fight the boss

You can just copy and make a back up save file of your game before going to defend the dragon with the NPC and then Simply put the previous files like you never defeat the dragon at all so you can experience the full dialog you get even after defeating the dragon boss

Jev I dont want to spoil anything so i will try to be vague but for the next remembrance boss you need to go to the big church below the shaman village, there is a guy there that starts a questline. He gives you a key that you can take to the finger places and after the second one go back to his chair at the church. This should lead you to the next boss.

@FaZeJev there is a crystal tear called “crimson bubble tear” that will restore your hp to half when at low hp it’s dropped by and erdtree avatar at the mountain tops of the giants. It’s pretty clutch as it last for a long time and can often bypass a insta kill

If anyone’s in the comments and already beat the dlc and wondering what kind of build or what character to roleplay as, I just wanted to say how perfect Elden ring is for the anime “Black Clover” characters. I beat it again with Asta using maliketh black blade and Marais Executioners sword and now I’m playing as Captain Yami with the sword of night katana and black flame incantations and it’s hella fun. Adds a challenge with having to strictly use their type of weapons and armor (bandit trousers and leather armor for the top) and I’m having a blast. It’s a nice change from using whatever the newest one shot or OP builds come out daily😂

If you want something else to boost your damage then there is the shard of Alexander from the base game that will boost skills by 15% which will boost the lions claw attack. It is from the jar character

To get Igon (the npc from Bayle fight) you need to go where the 2 drakes are fighting each other and kill them both. Then you will hear him speak and that’s where he tells you to summon him.

You can parry the instant kill enemies (the ones with the madness) thats the only way to kill them and you get a talisman i think
