I love weapon arts. So varied, and so useful. Anything you can think of, weapon arts can do. Quick attacks? Repeating Thrust. AOE? Waves of Darkness. Some weapon arts even inflict status effects. My favorite is Fires of Slumber, which is really good at inflicting sleep. My favorite weapon with this is St. Trina's Torch, you should try it.

Hey Chase Loretta’s Slash has an insane amount of poise, AND you get all that poise on frame 1 (Example at 7:58) It’s pretty underrated in this aspect. It’s a nice tool to have access to. 👍🏼

Scholars armament is kinda underrated in my opinion its a lot of damage. Stack that onto something big and heavy and you can one shot people pretty easily.

At 6:32 the phantom uses the fire buff to get rid of the frostbite that the moonlight great sword builds up, very interesting.

I kind of wish Chase would demo a more comphrensive int build. Don't just limit the character to ashes of war, but use ashes of war and anything else int can do well like sorcery. Perhaps mix in carian slicer, piercer, and cannon of haima. Really show us what he thinks an int pvp/invasion build should look like. I bet it would be so cool, almost as cool as St. Trina's torch.

Nice! I love int melee builds! And love the super passive phantoms who attack you like a pack of wild hyenas AFTER they've already failed to protect the host at the very end of the invasion bc you've already killed them lol. Happens everytime 😅 Also would love to see an int/dex (probably 60/40 or 70/30 % split) spellsword build next! With int scaling melee weapons and some of the more melee-esque sorceries like carian piercer, gavel, etc But thank you for the content Chase 🥰🙏

My first build is a int character that i used more weapons then spells, while still having access to those. It gets a bit annoying in the colosseum when every other opponent puts barrier of gold up and negates 60% of even the magic portion of melee attacks. I kinda have to run until it runs out, or trading becomes impossible. I can understand the use of it against heavy casting builds, but it gets pretty annoying since dueling against someone with such a huge negation to your damage becomes very onesided

The first invasion was hilarious. Those guys were NOT ready and were dead in like 10 seconds. The second one was just as funny for the opposite reasons. That was a super sweaty gank squad that thought they had everything set up but no. Again, host dead in like 10 seconds

How about Strength Int invasion with greatswords and cold infusions + aows like chilling mist. Got my fave pve strat after failing with pure strength against Malenia. Will probably be killer in your pvp too.

When you do these kinds of builds, you should really show off the more unique weapons! I was so excited when you pulled out the wing of astel so you could show it off but then hardly swung it :< If you do another high int build you could maybe slap on the Bastard's stars (the INT flail) since flails never get any love anyway. and i know the int sword spear is just slightly better Lorreta's scythe, but that weapon could have used so love and could use a nice spotlight!~~~ Just like St. Trina's Torch

Yo Chase! Are you still using that Intel 10-core 7900X? If yes, then that's likely the reason for your framedrops. ER can't use all CPU cores and needs crazy per-core performance instead. Just wanted to let you know. However, I heard that using St. Trina's torch can reduce FPS drops by up to 98%, as it's lighter on the CPU.

I don't think the heavy attack on the death's poker gets enough attention. Its heavy only exists on one other sword, and I find it to be a great roll catching option because nobody actually expects you to drag the sword 10-15 feet all the way to them, and the sword's hitbox is active during the entire attack, so from the moment it touches the ground to the moment you swing it in front of you, anyone rolling on your right side will get hit.

Magic knight was my favorite build. Using ashes as spell casting with all the magic weapons is fun as heck. Then people can't barrier of gold and your damage becomes poo poo

@@nheimi99 I've commented before with drunk souls. It's an arc/int magic knight with albunauric staff. Uses occult weapons for raw physical and has over 300 spell scaling at lvl 138. At 168 this build can pew pew and bleed.
