As horrifying as watching zero range bow attacks was, I was appreciative that chase was going straight for the kill everytime. No showboating, all thriller and no filler. The build is risky, chase gets frisky. One can only imagine how cut throat he would have to be to support some sort of hypothetical sleep-torch build.

Back before invading near and far was a thing I’d hang out in Sellia with a greatbow and jar cannon. Got so good at parkouring on the branches and rooftops. I hardstuck more than a couple pve groups trying to get through it. Probably got at least a couple hundred of my first 700 rune arcs there. Good times. 😊

I misread the title as "Pure Anchor Build" and now I want a video powerstancing pickaxe and rusted anchor. I used it for a while in pvp and had a lot of fun with it. If you wear heavy armor, you can win most trades because the pickaxe and anchor do pierce damage. Also, the powerstance movement for great axes is not one most players are familiar with so they misstime their dodges a lot.

I tried doing powerstance anchors, and usually small weapons were my downfall. I feel like the poise kicks in so late, that I usually get stunned out of my attacks, especially by thrusting swords.

I'd recommend the black bow for most status effects, barrage is great for it, except poison, serpent bow mighty shot practically guarantees poison proc.

For real man. Wish he would acknowledge that he dupes for these. Builds like this/using the bow like he does in invasions is nearly exclusively dependent on these arrows. It’s very misleading to people who don’t know.

Yes the weapon is broken in general and especially with Golem arrows, but a lot of the time I actually prefer the Jar Cannon since it works outside of lock-on range. Besides anyone who cares will find ways to dupe or use Grand Merchant or reload a cloud save or some other method

Drop everything to a friend and revert the backup for the friend to drop you back everything doubling all your items. This is legal duping lol wont ever get you banned for or flagged for misconduct. Once he runs out all he gotta do is revert to the backup

Yeah I get where both of you are coming from but as a hardcore pvp player (in what spare time I have) it just rubs me the wrong way these arrows are balanced this way and it isn’t addressed. I swap out to a great bow just like chase in invasions but seldom have the luxury of golem arrows. I don’t have time to make another account and do all that. It needs rebalanced imo.

I invaded a solo dude that was taunters tongued and using the concealing veil, a greatbow, and has made his characters skin a forest green color. He was hiding in bushes and trying to snipe me from super far away. Hella fun and creative of him. I wish I had gotten his name.

I still want a Str/Int build focused on pulling people off of ledges with Collapsing Stars, Gravitas, Alabaster Lord's Pull, Onyx Lord's Repulsion, and of course, Starcaller Cry. Was low-key disappointed to not see it in your pure int build vid! Speaking of funky purple ashes of war... you should try using some setups to make people unable to move out of the way of your gravity manipulation! St. Trina's Torch would he perfect for putting people to sleep. :)

You should definitely try to keep the arrow's reach talismanon when using a bow build - arrow effectiveness decrease over distance so this talisman greatly helps keeping damage up, more than the arrow sting talisman in my opinion since this one only boost the arrow damage not the bow damage. Arrow reach talisman is useful both for shortbows (you deal full damage from a longer range) and for greatbows (you deal more damage on very long range snipes)
