I've been able to pay my rent with my Social Security check (Retirement) for the past five years. Now my rent is doubling and that is no longer possible. Landlord greed - they know they can gouge, and they are more than willing to do so. They even charge rents for dogs and cats now, in addition to deposit. "Investment" groups are the worst.

@@damiansgaragebuilds7663 "assisted living" is not free. The government provides subsidized housing and affordable rent for low fixed income earners which is always needed but now difficult to rent. At the rate house, and rent prices are increasing every month you need to earn at least $65,000 a year which is an amount not everyone can earn. Biden's administration takes care of families with children's care, wants free Kindergarten and wants 2 years free paid college but failing to support the elderly living on a fixed income of $1,300 a month is simply unfair.

My God, I don't know the circumstances, it's just heartbreaking, she not a loved pet going to the shelter 💔 😢, and yet thousands and thousands of illegal immigrants are being flown all over the country with housing food assistance, and monthly payments, why do I know because they laugh and brag about it, hey I like helping people, but at this time in history we can't even help our own homeless, elderly and veterans, this administration with the sorros,gates,Clinton's etc,is getting what they planned, I'm just sick of it, if she were an illegal she would already have a house and a million dollars fund me account from Hollywood, seriously, I'm just mad but I thank God she was not hurt, or left at the park, I really pray and hope a church steps in ,I'm talking the multimillion dollar churches, and yes I've sent hundreds to churches, lord Jesus please help this woman know she is loved and cared about, in JESUS name Amen

I totally agree! I'm all for helping others.......but make sure HOME is taken care of first!!!! These refugees are getting better treatment than our NEEDED citizens. They are set up stress free with our tax paying dollars. Meanwhile a lot of our citizens are in dire need. It's disheartening to see and it leaves me feeling ambivalent about helping them.
