Eleanor, please do the case of Jennifer Schuett. Back in 1990, she was 8yo when she was kidnapped in the middle of the night from her own bedroom, was raped and nearly murdered. They didn't catch the person who did it until nearly 20 years later.

yes rape should be a life sentence but not maybe attempt rape because it didn’t actually happens but they should still get like 50+ years
@TheNightKingLTD
@TheNightKingLTD 4 жыл бұрын
SadlySunflower the problem with that is attempted rape is far harder to prove as most get put down as assault as you cannot prove the intent to rape without witnesses and assault carries a far lower sentence time and due to fake attempted rape charges people are far less likely to try to convict for rape over assault

I honestly find the police's initial reaction positively astounding. Now, our German police aren't generally bad (compared to the rest of the world), but I'm fairly sure if I went to them tomorrow with the premise that "my 17-year old didn't show up for dance class and hasn't answered her phone for the last 2 hours since", they'd tell me she probably just ditched it to hang out with friends and call them again if she doesn't resurface tomorrow. Shouldn't be like that, as minors "automatically count as missing" under those circumstances and police should expect the worst - but realistically, that's still probably what would happen in a lot of cases, at least with older teens like her.

i really appreciate how she tells us about the victim SO MUCH MORE than their killers. Often times serial killers will hurt people for the attention and publicity, which is why i hate watching true crime documentaries. They focus entirely on the killer and say nothing about the victim, glorifying a person who did awful & despicable things. it makes me so happy that she spends time talking about the victim and about their life, aspirations, dreams, & goals. rest in peace heather. may God bless your soul.

Eleanor if you see this please do Owen Harding, he lives 5 minutes away from me and went missing during the first lockdown in Saltdean, Brighton. There's not much information out there as the police work was terrible and deemed it a suicide on no grounds because they had no evidence. The case was closed within 2 months and although there's not much for you to make a video on its still good to bring awareness and possibly attempt to re open the case

One night when it was really dark out I was walking to my car from the grocery store when I got this strong feeling that somebody’s watching me and I looked around me and I could’ve sworn I saw something move in a nearby bush so I ran to my car and locked the doors quickly and drove straight to my apartment. When I got there I was too scared to walk inside alone but thank god my neighbor drove to the parking lot and I asked him if he could walk me to my door. I had a hard time sleeping that night and every time I heard a noise I got scared. I told my friend about this and she just laughed at me and told me I was just being paranoid and silly. Don’t know why I just wrote about this but I guess I just wanted to say that trust your gut even if it feels silly. Better safe than sorry.

There isn’t much on the case but there was a cold justice episode made about him not too long ago. I know there’s probably not enough to make an actual video about it but if you could I know his sister and mom would appreciate it so much as would I.

Maddie Findell The worst part is there really isn't anything minor we can do about murder. In my opinion, i believe if we are to prevent murder cases or major crimes in general we have to watch EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE. Cameras everywhere so nobody is out of sight. That way it'll be harder for a criminal to get away with it, but yes. The bianca devins case is possibly one of the saddest ones i've heard as she had goals she wanted to fufill.

I am born and raised in Tamworth and as you said, I still live here with my own little family. I remember this murder very well and it hit the town very hard, it was less than half a mile away from where Iived. I remember vividly the tent police use to cover crime scenes. Her body was found in undergrowth at the bottom of some steps leading to Belgrave dance studio, the steps lead up to a bridge and a dual carriage way ran underneath..... i remember every so often the tent being at the top and on full view. I have also told the story to my children on how easy these things can happen. It was such a sad story. I lived in Belgrave when I wS a kid and kids were always put playing happy and free and we were often around the dance studio listening to the girls rehearse, it was a great childhood but things have changed now. Heather Tell I will always remember and unfortunately Tamworth yet again have not long ago suffered another murder of a young beautiful 20 year old girl, killed by a so called male friend walking her home after a night, allegedly serially motivated and resulted in him murdering her. Such a sad sad world we live in xx

No thats not what you're saying at all. You are specifically saying 'WhAt AbOut MeN?' when we are specifically talking about the issue of violence against women and girls. Obviously all victims of murder regardless of their gender matter BUT right now we are saying it's messed up how men who are a danger to women are let out or given little to no sentences too often. When you say 'what about men' aka 'Neither should a danger to men' you aren't even helping male victims of murder; all you're doing is derailing both issues because you cant handle that right now we're talking about women.

I thought those kids interviews had been proven fake/debunked. The story I heard was that the mother was separated from the father so she and her new partner “coached” the kids to say all this stuff to get back at people they didn’t like. It wasn’t an actual official video and some of the things they said were quite obviously false (ie describing locations that didn’t exist). When this was uncovered the mother and her partner absconded overseas. It may not be the case you are talking about though.

I live in Tamworth and it makes me so emotional to hear the places that me and my mates walk together mentioned in a murder story. This murder changed Tamworth forever, ask anybody who lives here and they’ll tell you. The song ‘never let you go’ by Jakaranda is kind of known as her song. She was such a normal girl and never did a single thing to deserve what happened to her.

PLEASE DO TIMOTHY PITZEN A BOY WHO WENT MISSING BECAUSE OF HIS MUM. SHE TOOK HIM TO DIFFERENT PLACES ACROSS THE TOWN AND THEN COMMITTED SUICIDE. HER SUICIDE NOTE SAYS SHE HANDED TIMOTHY OVER TO SOMEONE TRUSTWORTHY AND SOMETHING ABOUT TIMOTHY BEING ONLY HERS. THERE WAS A LEAD BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE SOMEONE ELSE.

I love how you do so many smaller UK cases! I'm over in Canada so I've never heard about most of these. A lot of the other channels cover mostly the same cases, and it's great to find a channel chock-full of the stories of victims I haven't heard of yet. Much love from Canada! Edit: I also love how when there's enough info on a victim to get a feel for their personality, you really lean into it. It makes them feel a lot more real. You've got a great touch for that.

I'm so happy you popped up on my recommended page! I prefer these types of videos to the documentaries, because there aren't any disturbing images or background music. It feels like I'm just having a conversation with someone and defenitely will help me sleep at night without seeing any bad pictures in my head!

I have just stumbled across this video, it’s so strange to find Heather amongst the cases you have covered. She was in the year above me at school, we had many mutual friends one of whom lived across the road from her murderer. I was one of those to attend her funeral which was one of the most intense days I have ever known. It felt like most of Tamworth was there. You are right that it changed Tamworth...being 16 my parents became much more worried about where I was and about me walking late in the evening. Our school is located at the edge of the park where she was killed and we walked there often to/from school but also using the bike path to walk to friends houses who lived in other parts of the town. It was a huge relief when he was arrested, and a bigger relief to know he will be there for life. Thank you for talking about heather and her family with respect.
