Fantastic. Now THAT is a real Maserati worthy of the name. We need EV convertibles. That's one of the many segments missing in the US market. We also have no small roadsters, MPVs (mini vans), and others.

This makes perfect sense for Maserati because they've always made a beautiful car but had no idea how to make a decent drivetrain. This might allow them to reboot the brand.

Spending $207,000 (plus taxes and options) on a car whose charging socket is in the corner of the rear bumper is dumb. What are the odds of that charging socket or door getting stuck or damaged or inoperable after an impact?
