Great review...you had a nice level of detail without getting too far in the weeds. It looks like you have a lot of fun with your bike! All the best

ITS ABOUT TIME ! It's about time I heard from a woman about E-Bikes.. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I watch video after video on E-Bikes and they all start with "" Hey Guys".... It's refreshing and encouraging to hear a woman's point of view. Good job. Tell your friends, I'll tell mine. E-bikes are for everyone, not just the young and physically fit among us.... They are for everyone. We all need a cheap alternative means of transportation..All of us. If you are older and you have worked hard all your live and have pain in your joints, you can still ride and not stress those joints more than what is helpful, while still keep them moving. I'm 61 and I tore the meniscus in my right knee. There are times when I can't even do one repetition on my electric bike, but after some time riding, I can regain that repetition. Thank you again for putting your opinions out there,

You are 5 years ahead of me. Thank you for the walkthrough- I'm working on a big fat dumb-e right now.

I read when using the battery mixer that you shouldn’t use regen. How’s your experience been?

I tried the pedal sensor ring and I hated the power output it generated. I'm in the process of installing a torque sensing BB.

Thanx for this video, bc I never thought about riding my almost converted Rocky Mountain Vertex 10 all year round. It's not a fat bike though, and I'll have to check out winter tire types for mine. I will be ordering a kit from Grin in the next few days. Cheers...

Did you use 32 spokes rims? Or 36 and skipped the 8th spoke? Big doubt I have

Great video. How do you like the grin motor? I'm getting a cargo bike with a 15mm front thru axle and it seems like this is the only option for a hub motor that I've seen so far.

The motor is good. But the version of the motor that I have is the fast winding. It's too fast for this application. They now have different windings that are aimed towards slower/higher torque applications, for a fat bike or cargo bike, I'd go for one of those.

do you know how wide the all axle motor is? I'm planning out my first ebike build and am debating whether to go ahead with a 9C or wait for the all axle. I'm asking also because my donor bike is a single speed road bike with 120mm fork spacing.. thank you for the great vid!
@--onewheelskyward--3 жыл бұрын
It will do anything from 100mm to 150mm with the proper spacers.
