Your comparison to your John Deere gas tractor is EXACTLY what I want to know. Why wouldn't I want to know. That's the type of lawn tractor most of us would be replacing with one of these. Please keep doing what you're doing. It's exactly what most of us are interested in knowing. 👌

Exactly. Is this considered a Lawn tractor or a Garden tractor? I assume you could not till a garden or plow snow with it.

@@scrambler69-xk3kv I would think a plow or snow blower would work well with this tractor. The key is keeping the rig in a heated garage before use so the batteries can perform at 100%.

all the batteries fit. i have put my 12ah in mine. the 6ah are the same physical size as the 12ah but the 12ah is considerably heavier. This T6 is rated for towing 600lbs. The Zero turn equivelent Z6 is at 250. I have seen videos from the latest Equip Expo where the Ego rep says they are working specifically on a dump cart and a few other accessories.

"Why are you...", "You shouldn't be..." The only response to those comments should be, "because I bought it and it's mine." Seriously, if you want to go out and see if the mower deck is bullet proof so you shoot it, who cares? It's yours. Keep up the great work, I love your videos!

I have the Cub Cadet xT1e electric tractor I absolutely love it. I had the same John Deere as yours and I will say the electric tractor is great. I got an amazing deal on my Cadet and we also live off grid electric and have 2 electric cars so it’s great not having to pay for gasoline!! I have reviewed my electric tractor on my channel.

Please try this.... Charge the tractor to 100%. Then, hit the eject button on each battery, but don't remove them. Wait four days, then push each one back down and check the charge. See what it says. Thanks.

The batteries are interchangeable... Stock I believe on your mower is 6ah. They make 12ah.

darn people and there pushbacks, i love to know if the EGO lives up to its name and have the 21hp it clams to have, now i know it can pull 600lbs but have you tested that out, if you have a broken car in your yard can you pull it with your ego mower?

@@kitt28 I have tested the towing with dragging the road and moving some really wet compost with a cart. I would say it tows very well.

Some time ago I watched a video of a Craftsman electric rider. The gentleman said it was great until it wasn't. This is probably better quality, but the replacement cost of those batteries is just scary.

The batteries are warranted up to 3 years and if you get the Lowes warranty you get another 2 years. I would think the price would come down in 5 years, so if I need to replace them after 5 years, it should not be too bad.
