Are there any "sealed" electric scooters that can be used in rain?

Hi, does the scooter rattles when you're riding it? I bought the scooter just a few days back and the rides were extremely noisy due to the latch of the back fender(where the hook will clip on when scooter is folded) rattling while riding on uneven surface.

There's definitely a bit of noise when you ride it. It's typically from the back with the wheel being a hard plastic with the hard rubber tire. If something seems loose then there may be a problem, but some rattling is normal on uneven roads.

This is the Booster model? They've since released the Booster Plus with color screen, better rear tire with braking light, and more. Will you be carrying that one?

This is definitely a great choice for you! The UScooter gives the most comfortable ride and plenty of range for the daily commute.

+Curtis TorontoTransman The weight limit from the manufacturer is 250 lbs, typically most products can handle a little bit more than their listed weight limit, but the Kickped is definitely able to handle more with it's weight limit of 300 lbs. - Connor

What do you mean by peak power? When do you get to use that?

Electric motors have a peak potential power output, this is most of the times achieved when riding steep hills since this is when motors work the hardest to maintain the speed that they're programmed to maintain by the motor controller. The nominal rating of motors is the wattage they can maintain and run continuously forever, which is the most commonly advertised rating you'll see on electric motors.

Unfortunately EcoReco doesn't hold up to the task when it comes to durability. Through our experience, parts often need replacing, and repairs become expensive. The great thing about the UScooter is that it's build like a traditional scooter, making it simple to repair. The UScooters is also much lighter and easier to transport. Combine that with a nice 1 year warranty and 6 months on the battery, you have a very reliable and portable electric scooter with UScooter.

It is not recommended, but it can handle some light rain. It is best to avoid puddles to prevent water from getting into the battery, and to cover the display with a plastic bag so water does not get into the display unit.
