I LOVED that. Watching you experience it was great. Everytime we get a summer storm i always say to Ryan, I wish I was in my tent right now. He's probably annoyed. I love camping in a storm. Hiking in it, setting up and taking down? No thanks. It's so cool. And you chose wisely in the trees

Nice adventure man, looks like fun. Not an ideal tarp setup of course, I'd always choose something with a ridgeline for tautness and correct angles, while keep air flowing through. Plenty of tarp demo's on YT if you want to explore how inventive they can get. Keep it up!
