Pretty awesome that you managed to get the boards to perform in such cold weather :) 1 suggestion with the last part of the video with the hear/chest cam, either use hyperlapse or a gymbal, the bumpy vision is hard to watch at full rez :)

You have mentioned the fact, that these motors are not well suited for these builds. Could you make a recommendation based on your current experience? You gave me the inspiration to build my own and I will definitely go ahead and dig into it deeper once I can spare the money.

I'm currently building something similar using Turnigy SK8 6374 149kv motors. The theoretical range on this setup should be 10-15 miles with a top speed of 30-35 MPH. I'm sure there is some voltage sag due to using LiPos instead of LiIons, but LiPos are substantially cheaper.

Well today in 2019 is very hard to get 9000W with 80mm motors like LC8072 or APS8080. And large escs with 300 Amps or more. Any 63mm motor simple can't handle that much power even with 3000w for more than 15 seconds will make your motor fry. But i can say that with this price is near impossible to find a new mountain board.
