As an EUC rider, got to say.. this may look thrilling but at what cost? Way too much risk to others here. If you want to race join a highway and reduce risk to pedestrians, please. I hate to say this but there is going to be legislation put forth against euc use in the city. The public transportation department is going to crack down. Euc transportation is causing a risk to drivers and pedestrians by speeding through red lights and narrowly missing hitting pedestrians. A total disregard to traffic laws are going to have a negative effect on the euc community. If we want to continue to be able to travel with eucs we need to abide by the traffic laws only race at closed courses.

This is a great showcase of skill, and it's interesting to watch, but also if EUCs get banned, this is the reason. There are too many people and cars to weave through. The riders have every right to endanger themselves, but here everyone else on the road is also put at risk. Save this for a track or a more open space.

I have over 2K miles riding my wheels, (16X,S22) I am concerned of the traffic laws everyone (participating in this race) obviously broke, and the horrific rude behavior to the traffic and pedestrians, so Unsafe for the pedestrians and the vehicles. Your dangerous actions are your choice, no tears of your consequences from me. Ok, I get it. A single rider racing thru traffic for whatever reason, No issue from me. I could be guilty of the same some day in the future. But 40?, 50? Racing thru the center of NY? Mid day? Vehicles drive that way and break the same laws but blend in and disappear over and over all day long. Now with all of you guys on EUC’s exhibiting that dangerous behavior, what a scene 1 EUC cutting thru traffic creates, but so many riders -and at once - and you all planned this??? People remember it….You have all shown your skill, bravo. You have shown the world. So Proud you all must be. But showing Electric Unicycle Ass to the world, affects laws that screw the other 99% of us, that leave out the ass, when we ride. Lol I did the nroadway bomb in 2011 with no gear just a longboard with precision trucks. And huge wheels. A cab ran it over. Picked the thing up and kept riding! Th.
