The thing that scares me is that judging by these crashes, it seems like there’s a high likelihood that falling can result in a 100+lbs hunk of metal projectile shooting right at your spine, neck and head at 50+mph.

Inertia carries the vehicle through the air with you, so you could grab it from a big height and flip it. It would be similar to them moving dirt bikes around when they are in mid air. It would require some crazy people!

Electric unicycle probably doesn’t have a bunch of mass so between that and a relatively lean body 75-90 kgs means the force the two bodies have is way less than a normal car accident but impact time is decreasing as well as the pressures exerted on the body of the person are increasing when coming into collision with hard objects and surfaces like pavement.

Check out the stuff the Onewheel guys are doing. Unicycles are like rollerbladers compared to Onewheels are like skateboarders. One is way cooler.

Onewheels top out at 20mph. And can only go 15-20miles. My EUC tops out at 55mph. I can maintain average speed of 30mph for 50-60miles before I need to charge. If I averaged 15mph I can go 100miles OWs are old news I sold mine and stuck with electric skateboards until I got my euc
