There actually are some interesting things to mention about the Buzz Lightyear cartoon. 1. Tim Allen played Buzz in the pilot, but Patrick Warburton took over and eventually dubbed Allen's dialogue. 2. There were some episode banned for terrorism and drug buse plots.

I honestly waited for you to talk about "The Brave Little Toaster" because not only John Lasseter involved, but it's actually the first film done by the animators who would work at PIXAR and they were hired to do the film because they were just graduating from CALARTS. Also, it's the first film where we see the A1-13 easter egg. For some who don't know, A1-13 is the room for Character Animation at CALARTS.

As someone who wishes hand-drawn animation stayed on top of computer animation, I actually prefer the Pixar shorts over the Pixar movies. I'm not against computer animation entirely; I just don't like seeing TOO MUCH computer animation. That's what I like about the shorts. Because they have simple stories, there is no reason to make computer animation go crazy and add fancy special effects. The shorts understand that animation is made for telling stories; not for being show-offs. Now, for the shorts I prefer more than others, they include Luxo Jr., Knick-Knack, For the Birds, Mike's New Car, Boundin', Mater and he Ghost Light, a couple of Mater's Tall Tales, Lifted, Presto and Day and Night. Now about Luxo Jr. specifically, all I can say is that he is one cute desk lamp.

I agree that Toy Story 2 is better than the 3rd film as well. Though if you saw his review on that film, he really loved it a lot in his personal opinion. He thinks its the best animated film of 2010, he got very furious and upset with the Annie awards not putting the film along with other Disney related stuff in the categories, and also even placed it as his #1 Best Animated Sequels. That's how much he personally love the film, and its his opinion to you know.
