A quick tip. If you use the handles to lift the eggs out with the lid. You can flip it so the eggs land in the clear lid and that way you can run under water to cool them quickly.

There's a mistake here, and that is with pricking of the egg. It would be best if you pricked the egg on the big (not pointy) side of the egg. That part of the egg is empty and has air, so when it is cooking, the air will expand and crack your egg. So basically, you need to place the eggs upside down, if that makes sense and prick them on the big side that should be facing you.

so the pointy end sits is at the bottom, the fat end is on the top, and the fat end is pricked?

That's why I came on here too, the instruction book was very vague, wasn't it!. I originally wanted to find out which end is the dull end ha ha (that was my reason for looking for this), but read brads comment above that says put pointy side down, and then it dawned on me, if that is the pointy end, the other end will be the dull end...duh ha ha. Love the video, thank you!!
