Another good review, refreshingly without the silly jokiness in some other reviews. Tom is always honest and is clear about his own preferences, which may not align with some people but which I do agree with re comfort and refined ride as opposed to wringing the extra seconds acceleration out of it. I like the Elroq, I think it will be one of those cars that quietly flies under the radar but is a very very good car. I'm a Volvo driver but would have this over the EX30 any day!

And families surely need to know more about acceleration and steering feel, more than stowage. He's LITERALLY one of the worst reviewers on this channel. Original commenter, 3:36 yeah his ears being big in high school isn't that silly. In the DC video he makes marital spouse conflict joke about the infotainment screen in 2024 😂😂like it's the 70s, and using the large charging flap as cover yourself when charging in the rain, erm, how about just getting in your car. Another great review from Tom. So refreshing without daft "jokes" or moaning about a trivial detail. the Elorq appears to be on the same wheelbase as the Enyaq but with shorter overhangs. Interior lifted straight from the Enyaq. I agree with Tom on the power, it doesn't need 286bhp. A lower power big battery version might be ideal?

Is Skoda a premium brand now?? The size of those rims and tyres really puts things into perspective of how overblown things have gotten
@Brian-om2hh13 күн бұрын
That's a fair question. Certainly in the last few years, Skoda has sharpened up it's designs, build quality and interiors to the point where many now say they are superior to VW's own. There isn't much wrong with the way modern Skoda's drive and handle either. Owning a current Skoda, I'd say they are certainly no longer the budget brand they once were, and I'm fine with that.

Informative review, but there is a mistake - or something weird. To summarise the info from 0:58 to 1:20, the Elroq 85 has a 77kwh battery giving 360 miles of range, the Elroq 60 has a 59kWh battery giving 258 miles of range, the Elroq 50 has a 52kWh battery giving 260 miles of range. How does the 59kWh battery give less range than the 52kWh battery? Or is one of those numbers in error?
