The Electro Harmonix Hot Wax Dual Overdrive combines two EHX overdrive pedals into one versatile unit.
Featuring the full-range tones of the EHX Crayon alongside the classic 70s CMOS-based overdrive from the EHX Hot Tubes, the Hot Wax is capable some very different overdrive flavours. They can be used individually, creating a two-channel setup, or can be 'stacked' one into the other to create new textures and huge-sounding overdrives.
The Hot Wax works equally well on guitar, bass, keyboards, and many other musical instruments. It is capable of radically changing your tone and provides you with a very versatile overdrive pedal with three overall modes of operation to add to your gigging setup.

What does the blend knob do?

Hi! The blend knob mixes the dry signal and the distorted signal - when set to minimum you just get the dry signal which gives some more attack, and when set to max you just get distorted. Setting the knob to different levels mixes the dry and distorted sounds and allows for more control over your tone.
