It really sucks that Electronic never did a proper tour or anything....I can remember they (Electronic) were book at the Metro in Chicago in the early 90's and they just all-of-a-sudden cancelled. I was soooo disappointed....I would have loved to have heard "Get the Message" and "Try all you want"

I"m having a hard time resolving the light sound of this song and goofy-soft look Sumner had in the original video with the demonic "COME ON" he shrieks at 1:50. :D

Not great, and was it my fault? I met Johnny at one of his solo gigs a week before this and told him not to forget about "Electronic" and perhaps he could have Bernard join him at Jodrell bank! Johnny told me he had no plans... Anyway Johnny's solo gigs are great... and he does a very good version of Getting away with It. Bernard.. well Music Complete (New Order) is excellent - his vocals are weak this days live - but certainly not in the studio. Both these guys are are huge inspiration - so best not to knock them. I know many people who thought New Order was the highlight of Glastonbury 2016 for them.. What I saw on TV was pretty good - musically they can do it and it makes up for the live vocals.

Bernard is 58 years old and I think he is ageing in a dignified way. He still sings well and still has fresh ideas. Better than some of the monstrosities you see still banging out 60s/70s stuff, pretending they are still 20. A sad reality is that most/all ageing rockers dye their hair.

Mirna Ramos pero Neil solo hacia el backing track de la parte de "getting away with it all my life" y "however I look it's clear to see I love you more than you love me" Todo lo demás de la canción la cantaba Bernard Sumner, y si, canta medio mal en vivo pero en si es algo que se conoce de el desde los 80's y que de cierta forma te termina gustando

This is unfortunate viewing IMHO. Awful rendition of the last great single of the 1980s. Marr is one of the greatest ever guitarists, but his strumming here (to what was originally synth lines) is too rudimentary and taking the mick out of the song and his own undeniable talents. People say Sumner has not aged well, but it's a somewhat egregious statement to make. Bear in mind that in 1999 the guy was around 43 but could still pass for being about 28 (or younger still). It's just that he suddenly aged about 30 years over the following 15 years. Time and tide waits for nobody, and it suddenly caught up him this century. I guess all the New Order power struggles eventually, perhaps, took their toll.
