*EDIT I checked the Elegoo site and they state that it removes 'up to 95%' of VOCs. The key point is whether or not it filters out the harmful VOCs. If it only eliminates the odour that, potentially, makes it more dangerous. People will think they are safe because they can't smell the fumes that are harming them.

This is my concern. I've got febreeze for smells. I want to know how safe it is.

Please make a follow up in a month or 2 with how long the $90 block of carbon lasts. I'm looking to dive into 3D printing but I will have to use an extraction system out a window. And even then I still have concerns. VOC's can be tricky to measure and capture. I love the concept behind your setup and I'm interested to see how the Mars Mate performs over a period of 1-2 months of regular printing.

Thanks for the review! yes, totally agree it. Even the chemicals still there, but it's better than nothing🤣

Do you have a link for the grow tent you use along with the heater? I'm about to start with 3D printing and waiting for my order to be delivered. But as this will be set up within my apartment looking for ways to keep it enclosed and will be looking at venting options like this as well.

Better to go too big and put a wash/cure station in with possibly a second printer if you dig the hobby
