How to watch a volleyball video. Step 1: Stop commenting about Haikyuu in every volleyball video you watch. It’s annoying asf. Step 2: Just watch the video so you can learn from it. Step 3: if you really want to comment Haikyuu then go to a video that’s actually related to the anime. (Commenting Haikyuu in every volleyball video is like commenting “any Kpop stans here?” In a video of a Korean person making a mukbang video.) Step 4: You’re done :)
@riancarl5239
@riancarl5239 4 жыл бұрын
This makes no sense, it's literally just STEP 2. Steps 1 and 3 are unnecessary and just you ranting, it has no correlation on how to watch a volleyball video. Also your kpop comparison is invalid. Mukbang is obviously different from kpop whereas volleyball is very much related to haikyuu (a volleyball sports anime).
@nikolol4257
@nikolol4257 4 жыл бұрын
Dough Rawr First of all. That does not mean comment about it all silly nilly. If u see a Haikyuu comment then make a thread of Haikyuu comments by replying to it instead of doing it separately. I came to a volleyball video to learn and the comments to see how the tips in the video worked for them and if they think that the vid was useful. I didn’t go to the comments to get bombarded by Haikyuu comments. I’m a Haikyuu fan myself but I’m not the type to comment about it on every volleyball video I watch. It’s annoying as fuck.
@riancarl5239
@riancarl5239 4 жыл бұрын
@@nikolol4257 following the same logic then there should've also been a thread about how these tips were helpful, and not just for haikyuu.. The comments were never catered for you so you can't tell people what they should or shouldn't be commenting. If you're pressed about it then that's your personal problem. Do you think your original comment had something to do with the video? Was your comment one of those 'this tip helped me!' comments you were looking for? No, it's not. Your right to comment is the same as everyone else's right to comment what they wish.
@nikolol4257
@nikolol4257 4 жыл бұрын
Dough Rawr the thing is, I’m trying to stop the Haikyuu comments from raiding the comment section so that others who actually want to see useful comments can. I’m not trying to be rude in anyways shape or form but if people keep bombarding the comments with Haikyuu, it will be hard to find actual comments that can help. Sorry if it came out wrong 😭😭🥺🥺❤️❤️
@nikolol4257
@nikolol4257 4 жыл бұрын
Dough Rawr you can comment about Haikyuu, but not in every single volleyball video you watch. Not only is that annoying, it also makes it hard to find comments that can actually be useful. I understand what ur saying and how people should have the right to comment what they want, but Haikyuu comments should almost always be in a Haikyuu video. Its fine when people comment “hey, is it okay if you teach us a jump serve like kageyama did in Haikyuu?” But no “omg kageyama?” I used to be fine with it but everytime I look for comments about the ACTUAL video and how the tips worked for them, I almost end up with Haikyuu all up in my face. Yes, Haikyuu is a volleyball anime but please try keeping it in an actual Haikyuu video.

@keremeruyan2125
@keremeruyan2125 2 жыл бұрын
its totally ok to jump like that however jumping off a 2 feet after a stop will get you higher and more time to choose where to hit the ball. I am assuming if u jump off of one foot you are probably drifting in the air quite a bit which can catch opponents off guard but also gives u less freedom as to where to hit.

literally any volleyball video: "haikyuu!!!" no, I ain't hating. I'm a fan of haikyuu itself and love the series but I'm just pointing out at the amount of comments related to haikyuu are just too much. literally 2/3 of the comment section is about haikyuu and it honestly disappoints me so much as to how us haikyuu fans only started liking volleyball because of haikyuu. I bet almost all of the non volleyball players before watching haikyuu probably found volleyball tiresome of something like that. I'm guilty of this myself and I'm not proud of it. if you do actually get into the sport and dedicate your time and effort to it though, I have to say,that's really impressive.

Thank you, I remember watching these vids a few years back before it was infested. I too watched Haikyuu from the start and thats why I got into it, my brother too, we have been playing for many years. Though my brother has actually made a huge improvement. It's annoying to see people think they know about volleyball and try to correct others. Once I was trying to play with my friends but wasn't able to because of these Haikyuu weebs being arrogant and think they know what they are doing and hogging the court. I have liked Haikyui for many years and I still have but yet, have I never commented about Haikyuu unless it was a Haikyui vid.

Make sure your fingers never touch the ball, only the palm. Throw the ball high enough to give you time to jump. Make sure when you're done hitting the ball, your plam is facing where you want the ball to go. To get little to no spin, make sure your fingers aren't flicking the ball up.

Whenever i do a jump floater, it ends up having a sharp top spin but still have the effect of a jump floater. Do you know why coach donny? I am also an indoor volleyball player so there shouldnt be much wind

Hi! Teacher Donny. May I ask regarding jump float serve once we hit the ball, do we hit on the top, middle or under the ball. Million thanks teacher
@helppls4430
@helppls4430 6 жыл бұрын
kim nimol the middle/equator is your ideal contact point. hitting it under will cause the serve to “lollipop” and hitting it the top will generate topspin. the middle with a flat hand will give a ball with minimal to no spin and is your best bet :)

@@helppls4430 but sometimes when I serve the ball rainbow and causes it to fly out is it because I am tossing to high

Hey #CoachDonny This video was insanely helpful, but I was just wondering on how to practice the impact point of the ball and the bottom of your middle finger. When I hit it, it's usually like a spike, or it hits the bottom of my palm. The ball doesn't get much spin but I just can't hit it at the right point. Do you know anything that can help, or should I just keep practicing my serve until I can finally hit it correctly?

Could you do the hybrid serves too, like jumpfloat with top spin or jumpserve but floating please. Otherwise thank you very much for these videos, very helpful I'm now working on my jumpserve for next year's volleyball season.

Since I'm quite short, every time I do a normal float serve, it usually tends to hit the net. Would a jump serve be best for shorter people?

I did this in practice but only played with half the court and I tried and this girl tried to pass is correctly and it was supposed to be a good pass but then when she got into contact with it, it bounced off spinning rapidly giving us a point! Do jump float serves do this? It felt awesome and thank you for teaching us these methods. It really helped!! I used the last one btw.
