That last note he uses in the main riff... at 00:09 you can hear it... it fucks me up man, its such a exquisite resolution to the whole thing, it activates some kind of emotional reflex on me like i just want to rip my heart outta my chest and feed it to the beasts or something

Masterpiece! Eyes getting wet. This is a first fingerstyle song I’ve ever heard. Instantly I tried to show it to my friends, to share my feelings about it, listened over and over again. I was excited so much that I’ve bought a guitar and tried hard to master something like this. First song of yours I learned! It did elevate me to a whole new level. Since then I've been following your releases and humbly learning from you. When you came to Berlin a couple of years ago it was one of the best fingerstyle concerts I have ever seen! I was too scared even to come close at the end of the show. These are Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze, medium gauge.

@@DonRossMusic ahh right. I tried the martin monel Lawrence Juber (true medium) gauge for the first time recently and loved the tone. Not better, just different to the standard phosphor bronze. I shall try Ernie's, thanks. Btw I can't believe it was over 30 years ago we met at Summerfolk 😳
