Esther set her sights on creating a solution to transform not only the way garments are made but the way we buy, wear and consume clothing too. She talked to recycling plants and established relationships with key charities and Fanfare Label was born, a circular fashion brand that promotes a sustainable and moral way of doing things.

I’ve not worn denim for years, I’ve always found in to be quite scruffy looking. It used to be a youthful look but now all the grannies wear it too so it’s lost its edge. Jeans are rarely flattering and I’ve yet to see a denim skirt look good on anyone especially with the buttons down the front that make you look pregnant. As for the humble denim shirt, often far too bulky and don’t get me started on the short denim jacket worn with long floral dresses…. Shudder. I think ‘denim’ then i picture the Asda mum patting her back pocket and I swiftly move my thoughts to more lustrous fabrics.
