We livestreamed a Q&A session back in November all about Prompter. We're going to be posting some edited highlights from it here over the next while. If you'd like to watch the whole thing, check it out!: www.twitch.tv/videos/1972263758

I definitely want one to go with my Elgato Equip Collection. (P.S. I do also keep those Elgato bags for further use. Mostly to store smaller misc crap in.) XD Side notes: Speaking of USB, I think Elgato needs to come up with a 3.0 USB Hub that could house all other Elgato USB products and connect to a single 3.0 from PC. I feel like the dynamic of Elgato's equipment designs could do a much better job than all these almost cheapo feeling hubs you have to hunt down to find with enough ports that has more than one 3.0, that have a hard time pulling 3.0 to all Elgato products since that is mostly what is required to operate/detect them. Other Side Notes: Ever since I first started learning about being a streamer (about 5 years ago) and transitioning further and further into the part, Elgato has always been my go to for picking up the pieces I needed to take another step further. They've made it so easy (with SOME challenges along the way) to implement what I've learned about streaming with a simple purchase. And they've been there for me a couple times when I've had accidents with my stuff. When my Elgato Wave 3 Mic Stand somehow or another snapped in half (don't ask) and they replaced it for me. Or when the headphone jack literally broke lose from the INSIDE of the microphone when I plugged my headset in at the back of device, they replaced it. Or when I first bought my Stream Deck with a special offer for a free faceplate and my dumbass forgot to put it in the cart at checkout (X_X), with an email and a screenshot they still sent me one. I LOVE ELGATO 🥰 (Rant Over)

I don’t get why there is no C to C since almost all Apple computers and newer windows laptops have no USB A

@elgatoWorkship I have a 46mm filter, just under the 49mm Step Up ring you have - do you still plan to release 3D printable files or guides so people can make their own step up rings?
@ElgatoWorkshop8 ай бұрын
The 3D print files will be for custom backplates to support different types of cameras. The Step Up rings use very fine threads, in those cases we'd suggest using an intermediate step up ring. Perhaps a 46 to 49mm Step Up ring, then use our included 49mm ring to mount Prompter.

@@ElgatoWorkshop I see, thank you. I'll try a 46 to 49mm step up ring

@@ElgatoWorkshop I have a 43mm filter. Does that mean I should get a 43 to 49mm step up ring and then connect it to the provided 49mm?
@ElgatoWorkshop3 ай бұрын
@@tothetop-omaid If your current lens has a 43mm thread, yes you will want a 43mm to 48mm step up ring and then use our included 49mm ring to connect prompter. Though if this is a small camera, you can also use the universal shroud instead which might be easier.

@@ElgatoWorkshop thanks if I ordered 43 to 49 and then connect to the 49 it won’t work?
