What Eli and his team have done is truly admirable. It is not only about documenting the days leading up to Argentina's great victory, but also about making an effort to understand and explain from a foreigner's point of view the Argentinean society and culture. And above all, the beautiful madness that football generates as an escape valve from our daily problems. The tension and adrenaline of those days are present all the time in his documentary. They have truly achieved a masterpiece that takes us back to those beautiful days of December 2022, when there was no better place to be than on the streets of Argentina. Thank you!

Yesterday I watched the four episodes , all in one day, It brings back all the emotions, the ups and downs, and let me tell you that I am not argentine by nationality, but I am by soul, I have got an argentine heart, I have loved Argentina since I was a little kid, I watched Maradona back in the days during the world cup in Italy 1990.I was only 10. As a football fan watching el calcio, la liga, UCL, I always believe that Argentina has great players, but we couldn't win anything. and finally we made it. It is a long wait. I also love very much that you talk about the culture, the history, the music, the people's perspectives, and how football is the magical mix of all. Thank you so much for this great piece of art, culture, and joy mixed with tears of deep emotions ❤ I love it ❤

I absolutely agree with what Eli is saying around 7th minute. As a South American (Argentine) I can't imagine starting a league and knowing that my team has 0 chance to win. There is a lot to improve in our league but at least champions are more unpredictable. Do Bayern/PSG/Celtic/Benfica/Madrid fans even celebrate winning a league title? It feels so business as usual.

I watched the four episodes last night! Great work! Something very important is missing though. The English founded our football clubs, they came here to build and create the train 🚂 stations, and also the first schools. Also they introduced sports in general, that’s why Argentine Rugby, tennis etc are very competitive too. Also we had lots of Jewish coming here and Germans and Polish, Japanese. Video don’t mention any of that. Also I would add that today’s kids think more about a “Team” rather than just a One guy miracle like Maradona, Pele, or Messi..

To conmemorate the first world cup, the aniversarie should have been only in South América. Ass allways the world powers didn't allow this to happen... And it's so sad.... They stole South América History....

And then they talk about polítical corrección when they're robbing history. That's cultural apropiaton....

FIFA has been corrupt ever since its inception. “The Ball is Round” by David Goldblatt explains this. It’s just easier for the average person to see now.
